Well, everything is actually a risk but going with bitcoin, for me, is a well calculated risk.
Even using fiat is have a risk. Most of us didn't know that our value of money is decrease because fiat printing by government that make an inflation for fiat. We should thrust bitcoin because so many great country is start to believe bitcoin too. Why there are people who are scared of the risk with bitcoin. Actually the risk upon usage of bitcoin is not that really an issue or something to be scared of. As long as you are able to make your first profit with bitcoin in a legit way not with those scam HYIP's or cloud mining. Your belief with bitcoin is going to become stronger each day.

For those people who had experience already with ups and downs of bitcoin, this type of situations are just going to be a normal ones for us. Most newcomers on experiencing the increased price will be happy to be the part and when they experience decreased value automatically a hesitation sticks to their mind whether it grows high or not. This kind of thinking is obvious and has been observed in many other fields like people who don't have any idea in stock market putting their money in stock market because market is bullish, everyone keeps thinking it will remain same. Another example would be housing market, one of biggest bubble burst observed in America.
The bitcoin is the revolution in the economy and the currency world, with the word going toward digitalization and people using internet in their everyday lives bitcoin will become the way to use money and if you trust in it now you won’t regret in 2 or maybe 3 years ahead, so should you believe in bitcoin? hell yes.

Exactly. When the price is going high everyone says we believe bitcoin because they see they are earning profit, but the real test starts when the price start dropping, in such situations the ones who really believe bitcoin do not panic at all but the ones who said they actually believe bitcoin they start selling out because they don't really believe it.

Yes, that is quite correct. If thread starter had invested 10k in the bitcoin in 2015, that investment would have returned hefty profit for sure. Even though the price has slumped from $1000 still current value is more than double of what it was in 2015.

just buy with what you can afford. the best is to just use 50% of your investment balance, and the rest for when the price is going down. bitcoin has a bright future, if you believe in its potential, then you will realize that the current price is a joke compared to the long term price.

Yes OP should take this opportunity to buy bitcoins but since the post is on 2015, So we don't know if his $10k is still alive but fortunately OP last active time is Dec 2016 so I hope OP reads the replies on his thread even tho it was posten on 2015 .
If the $10 is still alive then don't hesitate and just invest it . The current price is low so mabe in a half year or so you can gain a huge profit from it .
