Yes please, you need accumulate as much as you can on each dip. Definitely there would be correction in market and that would be the right time for you to buy more Bitcoins.

Only few weeks are their for August 1 ,it's the right time to buy bitcoin . No one can judge how much price will reach on August 1.May be it doubles the today value of money .So if you want to inverse your money on bitcoin means. It's the right time.

Hey guys

So as we all know the fork is happening and I'm kind in a grey area what to do atm... left with many questions such as

Once BTC splits into BTU does BTU price start from bottom or will it be same as BTC?

And should I buy more btc right now it's not for holding I will be investing into alt coins

this is the bad thing if its happen tomorrow after segwit. i think its like an ethereum, when the dev launch eth and etc, etc coins price is start from bottom. maybe BTU price is start from bottom too but i don't think that BTC will jump into down. i think its better to hold BTC and wait for more if you want to buy altcoin and the best thing that you can do now is searching another news about BTC and segwit in august.

My main concern was that if btc was going to be split into BTU but reading your comments it's kind of clear that the direction is heading towards mostly with upgrade to btc only..
I just bought more btc but mainly to invest in alt coins.

AFter seeing all the comments and suggestion one this is sure that this is not hard fork and it is only implementing Segwitx2 which i think is to increase the block size so their is no question of splitting btc in two.
Yeah, though it's not the hard forking people fear that the splitting will happen. Segwit will be solving the blocksize issue. So possibly a growth will happen rather than a price decline, based on this it's good to buy right now. There are investors who are quite waiting for post august investment.

And there are others who accumulating some to thats why we can see some upward statistic right now so better we should wait since for segwit to come since it only have few days left and surely It will be the talk of the whales right now. But Im so excited on this time since many of us doesn't know on what would be the result after this implementation.

Well if they follow the agreement Segwit will activate as early as July 25. If segwit2x didn't activate, UASF will activate and the chain split will happen. So if you want to buy bitcoin if ever UASF chain split happen, do it before August and also don't move your coins if the chain split is on going.

A hard fork is not yet certain at this point. And if ever a hard fork will take place after the segwit activation, this will not lead to a BTU/BTC chain split, that was an old issue months ago. Move on dude.

If you want to buy bitcoin then this is my suggestion for you, buy some bitcoin using half of your fund today and wait for the activation before buying again the remaining half. This way you will be on the safe side to whatever will happen

Fork  Huh There is no info regarding any hardfork, segwit2x will be activated on august first week which is not a hardfork.

At that stage it's not a hard fork, but that doesn't mean none will follow. After SegWit2X has been activated, a hard fork will follow roughly 3 months after that (it's part of that proposal). And btw, if SegWit2X is going to activate, it will happen before the first of August, as miners want to make it happen before the UASF gets initiated. Currently miners signalling support doesn't yet have any value, but this will change as everything will start to get interesting starting Juli 21 this month.

If there will be split, chain/coin with minority hashpower will have way lower price than bitcoin when listed.

You can buy more bitcoin, if there will be split you will get coins in both chains but don't forget to store those bitcoin in address which is under your control (you have their private keys).

If you believe in bitcoin for the long haul then it is always a good time to buy. When bitcoin gets to 5000 it will still be a good time to buy because some day it will be at 10000 and so on.

I definitely say yes. I am sure Bitcoin will reach 5000$ within the two or three coming years, so just buy now and enjoy later !
Yes I am really agree with your opinion that the price of bitcoin will reach to 5000$ in coming future two or three years later and those people want to buy bitcoin that is a great opportunity of them to buy bitcoin because now its price is low and then they buy now will be gain more profit.

The fork you are saying is still uncertain up to this date. There is no formal announcement yet that claims that there will be a hard fork happening in the near future. Also, Bitcoin will not split into BTU. Please, do us a favor and conduct some research first before posting such. You are giving false information in here.

Do you want to buy now? if yes then do so if no then don't.

If you are planning to buy bitcoins for a short term profit then i would say no as price will fall further but if you are planning to buy bitcoins and keep it for a long term like maybe 2-3 years then it would surely be a good option and within 2 years of period there is a 90% of chance that the price will double. Plus some anaylyist are saying price will drop to $1000 so plan your investment accordingly

OP, yes. It is dipping right now. That is always a good opportunity to find and entry. Do it and good luck!

It is now pumping and there's a lot of chance to buy a while ago. It went down at $2,460 and now it is $2,520. And for OP, where did you got that information that btc will be splitted to BTU? No way it isn't going to happen, it's better to read some other threads and try to understand explanation of the people here.

There are basically two types of people in this matter, one who are expecting price to drop to $1000 and the others who believe that price will skyrocket to $5000. Its all on your belief if you think price will skyrocket or suffer a steep fall.

Hey guys sorry I'm kind of clueless regarding fork as I'm just reading random articles.. so thought I ask..

then you have been reading the wrong articles so far.
and don't compare bitcoin with eth. eth is a centralized altcoin with no consensus mechanism despite what they pretend. and its fork was a roll back to protect the pocket of the main whales because the messed up and got DAOed. Cheesy

If you are asking here, no.

Do your own research until you feel comfortable enough to answer this question for yourself.
That. It's basically the same as asking whether or not it's a good moment to buy Bitcoin (or any other coin) in the troll box of certain exchanges ~ you'll never get a correct answer.

If people don't know if they should wait with buying, or that they should do it right now, please, stay far away from the market. Not understanding how something works will in 99% of the cases result in losses.

In more clear words. DO NOT BUY.
