hello Everyone, am definitely bother by some  certain questions. therefore I just want to air it out to this forum since I have some crypto professional and expert here that can help me tackle it.
I'm a newbie and I have this passion to develop myself professionally in the system and to acquire a reasonable crypto and stock per say that I can hold on to.
After a simple research, I discover that stock can generally offer more stable returns compare to crypto. thou crypto offer higher gain.
Do I need to choose stock over crypto?
I don't want my attention to be divided.

The two of them have risks involved, and as you go on research I think you should have know the advantages and the disadvantages of both of them and you should have as well know about the profits return both of them is bringing; therefore, do we need to say anything to you based on choice of which one to go for? I think it is a straight forward something that you will just decide by yourself.

Do your research and reason the advantages of both of them then decide where to start from. Make sure you learn both of them adequately, gain some experience and don't rush.

Crypto can give and at the same time can take as far as it's unrealized because of the Volatility nature of crypto but the profit you can make from crypto coins, you can't make that from buying ordinary stock unless you are a margin trader and that's very risky to involved in as a newbie you are. There are some crypto that are less risky compare to others, I mean the likes of Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, Solana, these coins hold larger market cap and has a lot of institutional investors.

Since you interested in stock and crypto, why not do it this way. Divide your funds into half, but half for crypto but make sure Bitcoin is included when diversifying your investment and used the remaining money to buy half of stock you want to buy but make sure it's stock that the company will not run down soon so you don't end up losing the value of your investment. Make sure to buy crypto too at the bottom, and avoid shill coins like memes.

DYOR is the first thing anyone should tell you, you're the one who knows the size of your pocket, you're the one who knows your risk appetite, you're the one who knows the size of your income, you're the one who knows everything about yourself.

Talking about crypto, you must understand that there are quite a lot of cryptocurrencies, so which one of them do you want to buy, bitcoin? Altcoins? You can as well buy bitcoins and stocks, you're not going to be looking at your portfolio every minute in the day, so the talk of divided attention does not count.

Sounds like you already have your answer, there is no need to create this topic, one offers stable returns like you claimed and the other offers higher gain, to me it seems you are better off having investment in both, you talked as if you don't want to miss out on both so what are you waiting for?

I don't accept that stock offers stable returns though, here is what I believe, stock is far reliable than crypto, but return on investment takes years, stable returns means that once you invest you start getting some dividends.

I think this belongs to Bitcoin mining or those who are running Nodes for other altcoins, they get paid daily, I bought some miners last month and I got them shipped to me, I did this to get away with passive income, just to survive this hard times.

Yet I have my investment portfolio as well.

You really know what we will answer but at the end, you've mentioned that you don't want to divide into both. Well, if you can change your mind, that's what I am going to say to you. Why not just choose both of them? Buy Bitcoin and hold and then buy the stock that you want to hold since you want to have a stable return through it. But I tell you, not all stocks are going to be stable, they're also as volatile as the crypto market but not that volatile at all. Learn about what you truly prefer because you have posted and asked on the Bitcoin forum and you know that all if not majority of us here are into crypto.

I quite agree with you and say that OP should think towards diversification, and that’s investing into bitcoin and other digital assets too or physical assets. But if OP is bent on taking just one then my answer is to go for bitcoin. Bitcoin is not complicated as stock which you might have to find the right one to invest. There are stocks that can easily go down to dust, something that I don’t see happening with bitcoin at the moment. When we talk of bitcoin people easily associate it with its volatility, bitcoin has shown in the past two years now that it is getting less volatile which is the only advantage that stock had ahead of bitcoin. But for safety reasons I will say diversification into both is better
I agree and that's a good comparison. The only difference between Bitcoin from the stocks that he may be interested in is that there are no central powers to Bitcoin and there won't be the owners having a larger share. He may logically think of it as with the whales that own a lot of Bitcoin but it's still different from a CEO that owns a lot of stocks and dumps it all at once and the scare is there from most of the followers of that stock. Unlike in Bitcoin, if there is a huge institution that dumps a lot of Bitcoin to the market, there are sure a lot of takers and are likely to buy those cheap Bitcoins.

I believe, the two business are very good to make profits but if you want to achieve big profits that will make you to start establish other businesses, I will advise you to choose crypto business because is not control by the government and it pump higher whenever it is time for the bull season to reign.

If you want your attention not to be divided, try to use your  personal research to include your choice in all the suggestions people  have given to you, and you will discover that the majority of people chose crypto business because that is what make newbie to grow higher financially in the industry. Not that you will not make profit from stock business but the opportunity crypto business will give to you to accumulate profits, it will not be there in stock business.

before choosing between crypto and stocks, first consider how much you can afford to lose if your investment performs badly. Also think about your expected returns and your investment timeline, stocks can generally offer more stable returns. But crypto can potentially offer higher gains.

What do you mean by "you don't want your attention to be divided"? You're not trying to bs a stick broker or a crypto trader are you? You're just looking for ways to invest. You can invest in both and give both full attention.
In my opinion, what you first need to do is study both investment. Know all you need to know about the both of them. Do you research and if it means getting a professional to put you through, do that.
If you have the funds to invest in both, then by all means do.
I don't believe they're mutually exclusive. You can only get to choose if you don't have the funds to go into both of them and if you don't have enough funds then I don't think there's a lot of choice to be made because bitcoin is relatively cheaper to invest in that stock.

Diversifying your investment is a good thing, the percentage or amount you decide to go with for both investment is totally up to you.
I'd even advise not to stick with just these two if you have the money. Investing is one of the ways to make your money work for you. All you need to do is carry out proper research and be sure you know what you're investing in.

it is your choice whether to choose stocks or crypto, or you want to choose both, because both types of instruments have their own risks, and there is no guarantee that when you invest in stock "a" it can give you a stable return, it could be that the stock is a failure and you experience severe losses. and conversely, it is possible that crypto "a" provides much better performance compared to what is offered by stocks as good as google or apple.

so the choice is yours whether you want to invest in stocks or crypto. but in my personal opinion, it is better for you to choose bitcoin, even when you have limited capital you can do dca and just hold it for the next few years, believing that it is better than holding stocks.

You can have both, no need to chosoe one over the other.

I don't want my attention to be divided.
There is very little thing to do if you buy bitcoin only and ignore altcoins, especially if you opt for DCA investing strategy which is by far the most newbie friendly. Once you set DCA plan, all you have to do is learn how to properly and safely store your bitcoin and you are good to go.

Bitcoin is not that volatile again like altcoins. Most other coins are volatile. If you can be patient for the bear market to come and the price of coins including bitcoin have decreased significantly, you can invest on bitcoin. Or you can just start DCA with little amount of money continuously.

I do not know about stocks much but not that they are not volatile, but they are better than cryptocurrencies as they are less volatile. Study both price histories. Knowing the price histories of the assets that you want to invest in can help you a lot.

As for altcoins, they are very volatile. Invest the amount of money that you can afford to lose on them.

Should I choose chicken over egg?
Should I choose Lambo over Harley?
Should I choose iPhone over Android?
Should I choose mother over father?

Again and again a subjective question, you know exactly stock has lower return and lower risk, while crypto has higher return and higher return. Since you're the one who want to invest, why you're relying on someone else opinion?

Articulate your financial goals and vision for yourself. And as you do that you will find your answer. No one here can tell you to pick stock over crypto or crypto over stock, it is your sole decision. Personally, I haven't been involved in stocks because of its high level of entry despite its relative stability and less volatility. I got into crypto because it with less than a 100 dollars, I can get in and increase my holding weekly, dailly, monthly or which ever way I wanted and I could do it without any professional help or confusion on what to invest in. I started with bitcoin and have been investing in bitcoin for a long time. It has paid me well. There are other people who have great experience with stocks too. Whatever be the case, it is left for you to do your own research, and make the final decision on which to choose.
