Shutting down their social media channels is already a red flag. Do not deposit anything from that platform, listem to these gentlemen’s advice. Obviously their intentions is not good, AFAIK they conducted a bounty campaign but later on aborted by the manager and labelled them scam.

This is a common trick by scammers, good thing you posted it here before trying to deposit. Given that they disable their social media most importantly telegram, it is very suspicious and you can tell there is something wrong with it. If you can tell how much amount of deposit they are requiring? if it's something like 1 satoshi or similar it does not matter if it is a decent amount or at least $1. If they scam like 1000 people they can have a decent amount so better stay out of it.

As expected they will ask money for the rewards. Not new, there is a scam accusation on this project. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/scam-spire-x-allegedly-offering-1-daily-return-through-staking-5248490
...I dont know why hunters are pushing their luck to too good to be true rewards. As if they dont find it suspicious the amount of reward that will be received for a very easy task.

This is because bounty hunters do not want to spend time studying the project they have decided to participate in. Although a little study of Spire-X could make it clear that this is a common Ponzi scheme that offers unrealistic interest on deposits. In addition, the domain https://spire-x.com/ doesn't work anymore.

Don't make deposits when you are asked to, it's a complete scam, I don't know how people fall for this cheap tricks, greediness is what makes people send money to others hoping to get double in return.

if social media is not active then don't do it because this is clearly a scam, they are ready to take away all the money they get from some people who make payments
I think it's better to not have to make a deposit because many cases like that often occur, they ask you to make a deposit of a few $ and so on will make you confused and try to make you a deposit again.

I have some balances in Spire-X wallet (https://spire-x.com/) got from participating in airdrops and referral campaign. Now they demand to deposit an amount in their specific addresses for activating withdrawal option. But the suspected matter is that they have disabled all their social media like facebook, twitter etc. They have also inactivated the response in telegram contact.

In this circumstances, should I deposit in Spire-X wallet? Your valuable opinion and suggestion are highly appreciated.

If indeed you are suspicious of fraud, it is better if you do not make a deposit. Maybe the other party responds to your question. Don't waste your money on platforms that don't have clarity.

Beware of the following in crypto world

1. Unofficial wallets
2. New wallets
3. Projects and giveaways that ask for deposits

What you don't know is scammers are more interested in what you are asked to send first e.g ( your coins, BTC, ETH) than doubling your coins for you

Deposit in this case, I guess it refers to depositing another coin like BTC or ETH so that it will trigger the withdrawal options, that's funny and looks fraudulent to me. And to confirm they aren't truthful, why disabling all social media accounts and also deactivating response in telegram so that no one will ask them tactical questions. Moreover, I don't even know the worth of this coin nor how sure you are that after depositing that they will activate the withdrawal options? In my own opinion, I think it's best you move on, they don't look or act genuine.

Do not trust any new crypto wallet unless you see good reviews about the wallets, we have enough crypto wallets already that are trust worthy like atomic, trust, coinomi wallet, use popular wallets instead
Even good reviews can be manipulated others pay for positive review just to entice more people, Web wallet is the most dangerous place to store your digital asset. if they are asking you for a deposit just to get your own funds out its clearly a scam.

Spire-x wallets? Never heard anything like that.

How do you come to know about such a wallet? Who recommended you to use it? Is this open source based? Do you have github links for this wallet?

Anything/person demanding to deposit some money then they cannot be having any differences from kidnappers. Shout down all the social media must be a sign that you already got scammed. I am not seeing any possible methods to recover your coins/tokens even you have saved any passphrases if that wallet provided you already.

If that wallet is open source based and you have seeds passphrases then there could be some chances for recovering your balances.

You may watch your addys on explorer; those scammy people might be working on moving your tokens/coins already.

Don't even if it's not a scam. don't trust apps or other websites on storing your coins. There are wallets out there that looks legit but when they reach their initial goal they will do an exit scam. If i we're you buy a ledger which you only have access with. But still when you are using App wallets. Be aware. Your information is stored in their servers which people can steal.

Don't you think it's a trap?
You are telling yourself that their social media accounts are not active (totally exit scam).
It should be remembered that no airdrop or bounty demands payment from you until they do not intend to scam.
He wants to make sure that he's not going to fall. It's good that he has asked this before making decisions.
Although it's really obvious that it's a scam, he seek help first and suggestions of everyone. There's not that much review with that scam although there should be some of it like this.

You should not send any amount on the address they are telling you to send money. This is the last resources they want to claim before finally abandoned  the project.

Removing the social media channel they own means they don't want to continue it anymore and planning  to run all of the money they collected.

Its the same scheme use by popular cloud mining investment before.
