The house is not always the target of the hackers. Hackers are targeting the customers since the website itself would be hard to hack. If your site isn't secure enough and the players got hacked, they eventually will withdraw all of their money and just migrate to another bitcoin casino. Investing is always good than gambling by yourself.The real problem is what amount what you want to invest.You said 1 bitcoin to invest or gambling with it.In my honest opinion you have nothing to achieve significantly.You need some decent amount to invest in order to be happy with returning amount.
But the real problem in investing its high risky than gambling.. because anytime your money will gone while you are waiting to gain a profit.. you lose only if the site turns into scam and runs away with your money and in this case gambling has the same risk too because you are gambling in the same place you have invested which is risky.

Why not ? Rather than losing money in the long run, as in this long run the house edge will always be an obstacle and will make you lose in the long run, better to invest directly in casinos. But this is still a big risk regarding investing in casino, no matter how trusted the site is, there is always a risk of them failing and go offline, or not paying investors at the worst case.
You got it right, me as a gambler I always look for a different method to win in gambling but for the long time of searching I still couldn't find it and continue to lose my money in gambling until I realize the simplest way to stay in gambling and enjoy, with investing you can be save of losing as the house always runs and it is profitable IMO.
