If you are a risk taker and want to have a great profit you can go to altcoin and ICO but if you are willing to wait for it and also want some much more greater profits you can go to bitcoin but you need to hold it for a long time

You can try all three. But for me investing on Altcoin is more profitable specially when it offers good reward for MN and POS.There are lots of alts that offers MN and POS. ICO's are still the good investment for me I think compared to BTC or any altcoin that is already in the market. Of course, taking the precautionary measures on investing like studying and researching what the project about is always needed. I am eyeing on one ICO right now, menlo.one and they are really promising I'm not recommending it to everybody but their concept is what we really needed right now.
Try to break the whole amount into three parts and invest equal parts in bitcoin altcoins and ico. This will reduce your risks if anything goes not as planned.

I think it's better to buy new coins, see new coins there up to 10 even more than 20x while bitcoin I think the price is not possible to rise 10 times in a short time.
