I think investing in ethereum is more likely and profitable than Ripple, as we know that ethereum is supported by hundreds of tokens and dozens of ethereum-based exchanges that can make ethereum skyrocket.
I think ripple still undervalued and have some progress last month with cooperation some bank on ripple system, its good for long investment
Ethereum takes a large portion of my portfolio than XRP. Both are very profitable. Yes, maybe 50-50 is good enough. Rest assured both provide positive returns.
I feel both are good investment. Both ripple and ETH has it's own advantages. I would suggest you to go 50-50 on both. Ripple is being adapted by banks and ETH has large dapps implementation. Would take sometime for market to bounce back.
Both coins are good to invest, I would recommend you to invest your money in both coins. You may divide your money because ETH and Ripple have a great potential to be very big on price once again. In January ETH wasn't at buying condition. But At this moment, the Ethereum price is enough low to buy for the long-term hold. Ripple showed a massive growth a few days ago, that was a good sign from Ripple. So, XRP will pump highly, no doubt! You shouldn't miss these two coins.

I fully agree with your opinion, since ethereum is economically beneficial for the cryptocurrency market and is much more important in terms of functionality than any of its competitors.Just be confident that the adoption will continue and as it happen, the value of ETH will slowly rise also.
Now, You can invest to Ethereum, ripple and Bitcoin so top 3. You shouldnt regret for this move.Cryptocurrency's prices are deep now and this is buy chance for us. We should buy while cryptocurrency's prices go down and we should sell our coins while cryptocurrency's prices go down. This is simple rule of cryptocurrency. If you apply this rule you will be winner at the end.
The ripple has never had an advantage over ethereum. However, both coins have a good prospect for growth in their own, individual field of application. Ethereum in connection with its smart contracts and the holding of ICO on its platform, and ripple in connection with its use in the banking sector. Therefore, I would invest approximately 70-80 percent of the funds in ethereum and 20-30 percent a ripple.

I see you asking this question in January. Yeah Ripple(XRP) reached 1$ in January and than in next 2 months most probably end of the march it's up 4$ and when most of the guys sold out. But still October XRP going dumped 0.50$. ETH investment worth now i think. Because more cheaper price you can invest at the moment.
Ripple is good. But I think it's too risky. Ethereum more stable and I would choose it or my investments and save my money in it for long term
I know many people had miss-landing experience with ethereum while he was about 1-2$ in 2016. So from that perspective i can say that you should not rethink about decision to invest in that project especially while it is low now according to market really that is good situation. Only in Ethereum.
At this point it seems that as my initial plans the crypto market is recovering. With the situation going on i think you should invest Ripple and ETH will be more effective. They are very potential and will likely increase in the future.

ETH should always be part of you and if you have some extra money than can think of XRP as only some days back XRP suddenly rose and even started to fall back again. Rest of the year it was just not at all worth it and ETH has being the only coin which was always on the investors zone.

Both are very good and have potential. The ETH price is now at a low point and seems like the right time to enter so if you have a large budget then you can invest by buying an ETH but if your budget is low then XRP can be an investment option.
recently ripple reached 1 usd and is predicted to go upto 5 usd by the end of next month.
while eth has rose 100usd in the past week and is being quite stable.

For the past 3 quarters of this year it shows that all coins are really affected by the bearish market in this includes ETH and Ripple but i don't see XRP team making a move to contain this market difficulties but i read news that Vitalik Buterin is very busy of improving the ETH transaction speed of up to 1 Million transactions per second that if this will become successful then for sure ETH price will bounce back so better choose ETH over XRP for now.
