What's the alternative to "keep calm and wait"? Panic and rush in? Doesn't really feel like there's any other good way to deal with Bitcoin, is there?
I know, right? How are you supposed to answer questions like this? "No, be frantic and continue pulling your hair out" isn't exactly good advice if you're trading bitcoin or anything else.
If you're a holder of bitcoin at the moment, I'd definitely keep holding. Selling when prices are down is how you lose money, and unless you really believe bitcoin is going lower for the long-term, there's no need to sell. In fact, it's probably a good time to buy if you ask me--and I've said that numerous times over the past few days. It just sucks not having enough fiat to get in right now.
Heh, yeah. It's as if people just want validation for decisions they've already made a long time ago.
People don't want to admit it but most who "got into Bitcoin" never really had a plan. They probably bought on impulse, harbouring some unrealistic dream of x100 and lambo moons. And when the inevitable arrives (yes, this has happened before this crypto winter), they're begging for people to pat them on the back and say "it's okay, get out now, rush out, we all are".
You're right. If you truly believe Bitcoin's dead or headed for the grave, then yeah. Sell. But that belief shouldn't have led you to buying Bitcoin in the past year, which is what OP probably did.
Sucks for us exactly. I also still have to sell as I do every few weeks, and the past 2 big sells were particularly painful, took my BTC holdings back down a level I'd taken so long to build up.
