GW2 is soo boring. Tried it once and gave up after just 1 evening.

I prefer RPG's with real story like Gothic. GW world is just big and empty, full of NPC's just standing and staring at you.

Apparently you can't read or follow the story arcs.  The Guild Wars universe has over 10 books written about the lore and mythology.  Almost all of that lore is in the game.  Gothic delivers it to you directly, in GW2 you are given the lore as you play through.
What I meant is that the cities are empty, NPC's are just standing there looking like statues, most of them doesn't interact with the player and all the people I know got to max lvl in a week or something and had nothing to do in the game.

You need to switch to a different server then.  Some servers are so packed it's too noisy - some people like that I guess.  Other serves are dead and it's fun to team up with some random person since you're the only ones on the map.

cooperation between players is hard when you play by yourself. i play some hon, and that game goes to shit because random strangers are supposed to make sacrifices for the team, and no one usually wants to do it.. so you end up losing a lot of games.

I played it 2 years ago, it's really nice. Requires real cooperation and timing from the players, because you have to avoid enemy attacks in real time and predict his moves. Bosses are no longer moving rocks that you just hit until they fall.

Unfortunately the story is linear, so it doesn't matter what character you pick you will have to do the same missions to reach the end and there's no way to skip a mission or choose between them.
When you reach top level there's nothing to do in the game, because PVP is almost non existent ant there's nothing to fight for (like clan wars, territories, castle sieges).

Yes, that's true; the PvP options are definitely weak, unfortunately. It would also be nice if the game included a few other things that its predecessor (Mabinogi) had: an open map, instead of it all being instances; ditching classes, so that you could use/learn whatever you wanted, provided you had the stats; and have a more natural progression for each ability (using them made them stronger) instead of the usual point distribution system.

Does anyone here play Vindictus? I think the combat system is far more interesting than GW/WOW/whatever clone, and it's free, with frequent updates too.

There are a number of amusing things you can do in the game, like grabbing an enemy, using him as a shield against enemy attacks/arrows/spells, and finally using him as a weapon against them. Smiley

I was actually looking into this game, seems fun.

This mmo seems pretty decent compared to WoW.

Way too deep for the average person, but these kinds of games aren't for the average one I guess.

I bought guild wars 2 right when it came out. I was very exited for it to come out. I played it a lot to begin with, but then it kind of got boring I think. I started playing WoW and I really liked it, there are things about each game that I like and dislike. I considering getting back into guild wars 2 though but Im not sure.

What are some fun things to do in-game?

I would play WoW, but it takes a lot of time, and I sold my logitech g13 which I feel like I need to play.

Guild war 2 is way better then WOW, just PVP is enough..

Yeah I played hardcore for the first 3 months right at the 3 day prelaunch and then I got bored.  I went back last June and got bored by Nov.  Went back in March and played for a month or so.

If you have friends on it's fun, otherwise the quests aren't that that interesting to me.

I play that game casually.  Look me up if you want to quest.
