There are already enough threads about this. Bitcoin is going to go up quite a bit in the long run, even if there are fluctuations short term. It would hardly be an "investment" if you bought coins a few years ago.

Bitcoin price is soaring. Its price trajectory is extremely steep. I fear that the Bitcoin price bubbles is reaching its point of yield. What is mean is, that such steep ascents in anything are rarely sustainable. I am going to sell my coins fairly soon. What do you all think?

you are correct, the fast rises like we saw last month are not sustainable and it didn't last. price fell down about $800 from the ATH in a process that we call correction and then recovered about $200 and became stable around $2100-$2200 for a while.

this rise is a new one and it is not yet even steep.

also rises like these are perfectly normal given the circumstances. i guess you missed the biggest news a couple of days ago! the largest Forex broker in the world added bitcoin do you even know how much volume that thing brought into bitcoin? Link.

feel free to sell though, more cheap bitcoin for the rest of us. it is not like there is only a limited 21 million coins total and it is not like the population of the world is 100 times that number.

The price of bitcoin is definitely sky-rocketing, but it also just dropped and it might again. If I were you, I would sell some of my bitcoin, but also keep enough so that if the price keeps rising you can make even more money.

First ask yourself this question : How many countries has still not adopted Bitcoin and what will happen when they do? We have only seen a few countries like Japan & UK that has embraced Bitcoin and some countries like India and Russia has only recently started to accept Bitcoin. It is a bit premature to think that this is the highest price that we might reach, with this low adoption rate. ^smile^

You might just miss out on some really high profits, if you exit now.

Are you in dire need of your money then sell it, I don't see this as a bubble rather a bull run, I would say hold for the long term and reap the benefits otherwise you shall regret it. As you might know, Japan has accepted Bitcoins and now if some big Country accepts it then it will just soar up like anything. Then I do understand that it will be a risk to hold on to your coins but no risk no gain. Give it a deep thought before you make any kind of decision.
I understand what you mean. At the moment, no, I am not in dire need of money. But let me ask you this question, have you ever seen anything that has had its price go up exponentially without a major setback? Perhaps Bitcoin can overcome this setback, but I want to be prepared for anything. I think I will sell half of my Bitcoin and hold the rest.

I think you must wait another months or years before you sell a bitcoin. This the best advice that I will give to you. I think the worth of the bitcoin will continuing to go up.

I think you right, if the price of Bitcoin up to highest price (about 3000-4000$) we will have more difficult to sell it, because many people thinks it is a good price for take profit => All are take profit and panic seller everywhere, blockchain cannot confim .... Grin

If you think that blockchain will having difficulties on that time  when everyone i mean some of them will sell their bitcoin then dont sell yours, wait for the right time when everyone is done selling their bitcoin, but now dont sell it, you are just wasting the oppurtunity to get more profit when its value get higher. But thats right, panic seller everywhere when that time comes, blockchain will have again some difficulties in confirming transactions, but lets just see it when it comes.

Actually, bitcoin price for me was a good thing happens to me. it was helping me a lot in terms of trading.
In fact, there nothing to fear at all because bitcoin is continuously in progress. So as much as we can hold it, lets hold it in a long term.

Correct, there is nothing to be afraid of on investing or holding our bitcoin because of its price volatility, which is changing everyday, sometimes its on the DUMP state, but mostly on the PUMP state, and this is the reason why I do trust bitcoin. I never doubt its capability on making me rich someday or to buy things that I want someday.

Bitcoin will keep on soaring and skyrocketing, that is why selling your bitcoin is your choice, if you do really want some money, then convert or sell some, but if you don't need money at all, then just hold your bitcoins.

why do you make multiple topics and why do you make them in a wrong board intentionally? you are a Sr. Member so you must know all price related questions belong to speculation not the main board!

and making multiple ones and calling this a bubble doesn't make it a bubble. and if you feel like it then sell, nothing others say should affect your decision.

Bitcoin price is rising with extremely high speed. Some price corruption may happen and bitcoin price may fall a little but i don't think that bitcoin price will fall more.If you are going to sell, then you will regret for it.

If you are selling with the intention of cashing out then I will tell you that is a big mistake. But if you are selling because you want to sell high then buy low then by all means do it.

I believe we are witnessing one of the greatest wealth generators in history. You should not miss it.

It all depends on what you think, there isn't anyone on here that can give you a quick rundown on what you should do without taking into account a ton of other variables that only you can see right now.
Personally I would be against it, but have some value in an exchange to exploit any market movements; down or up. You should be keep your positions relatively secure, but don't be afraid to risk some. That's what I am doing, that's not necessarily what you should be doing.
