I wouldn't listen to all the doubters in here if I were you iluvbitcoins. If I were to cut my losses and move on each and every time that I was taking a small loss I would have nowhere near what I have today. I would probably ble closer to being broke than I am now. It's silly, really. If you went in to gambling with a mindset of winning you have to keep on pushing for it until you win. So what if you lose your entire bankroll? You had that bankroll for gambling either way, right?

I guess he have, but it would be better to just let go of losses and be refreshed everytime he is going to play as if it is this first time Smiley.  Aiming to get what he have losses will only trouble him and make him frustrated.  See how he started the thread.  We are dealing the emotional aspect here, to continue to play or not is upto him .  I will never advise him to stop but rather just let go of all the loses of peace of mind's sake Smiley.

Why would it be better for him to cut his losses? Give me one good example?

If he went in with x amount and is prepared to lose x amount why should he stop after losing 0.X amount? Makes no sense. If you are going to cut losses you might as well never gamble in the first place to risk it.

Becasue the risk of loosing even more is great. that is why you need limits.
I tested a good strategy and with limits it was perfect. then decided to remove the limits and to see what will happen then. =>26 consecutive losses...

To avoid something like that you need to learn when to cut your losses as there are times when there will be plenty of consecutive losses and the only way to not loose lots of it is to cut them at some reasonable point.
And as there is the unknown if this instant will come at beginning or later, then it is impossible to predict what will happen. Divide and conquer!

So good luck to all Wink

Updating, I lost my bonus balance at 27% rollover  Cry
So nothing from a comeback Sad

This is the end result of gambling if we chase to win or recover our losses. Don't ever repeat this mistake again.

If he don't try again he will never know is it his turn to win or not. Losing money on gambling is not a mistake if you can afford that lose, try again when you can and you will be lucky in one moment. In my country we say third time is the lucky times, that doesn't work always but that should be a reminder for not quitting.
Money needs to be spent somewhere on some fun, but with gambling you have chances to win something and not just to spent money. Change site, change game, or at least change strategy, try to mix this 3 things and maybe you will have more luck. Try poker if you are tired from dices.

16 in a row is not a joke anymore and losing that amount at this moment is a big one. If I where you, I would not chase it. I'd just log out my account and breath a fresh air outside.

Reading your statement, it seems that you are still eager to play, that feeling might result to something you don't like, so stay away for now and go back tomorrow. But if that amount in your bankroll is not important to you, then YOLO and leave.

Yeah I agree OP need a breather Smiley. Pausing does not necessary means quitting.  I would suggest him the same thing plus not to chase losses.  See the scenario, money lost plus strain and stress, frustration if the goal of winning back loses fail.  this might result to depression or something.  Just play and enjoy the game, if you win think of it as a bonus.  Let go of past experience. It will help you a lot.

Sad to hear that. I know how it feels because I had been in that situation before. My opinion with that is do not try to win that losses back. That's already enough to lose. Trying to get those back will just be either lose again or if you have luck win that back again but your total amount of losses to win back I think, it will be hard for you now. Just save your money and invest on other sites where you are sure that your money will grow. It is fine for you to gamble but limit yourself from now on.

All of this is just my opinion and it is still up to you if what decision you will have. At least I tried to help you out on giving some advice. Smiley Just be wiser on deciding what is right.

If you can still afford to bet then go, if that will happen in my case and I still have the money I will always chase because that was very unlucky cold streaks, when you break that you will get your money and you will win in the end. However, always consider betting only what you can afford to lose in order not to regret your decision.

Lol, I CAN live without my BTC, but I don't want to
NotGonnaRiskIt  Cheesy

Also, I'm still rolling on the bonus funds, currently at 11% rollover with 135 mbtc  Cheesy
Good luck to you mate, I hope you will end up profitable, this is gambling, we need to have the balls to win. I'm glad to know you have back funds to live even without your bitcoins, I can say you are a responsible gambler, continue the fun because this is what makes us happy.

Too bad, probably on your next deposit you'll get those required rollover. Though you didn't even get near the rollover requirement, so I think it's really a lost cause here. Probably it is best not to try and win back the losses and just move on to other things. Like me, I just moved on out of a 3btc loss back in 2013. Though the value of that is not really as big as today, well I just want to say that I didn't imagine back then that it would grow this much.

I'm also a gambler and a dice player. Winning back what we have loss is really hard to do. If I were you, I won't think about my losses, move on and just continue to play. It will give you good mood and sometimes it makes my play doing well.

I'm sure it was a good run, you can't win 'em all Wink. Next time around you might hit the jackpot, that's the beauty of gambling. Don't let it get to you though, it's only money and money has no feelings..

I would say that just don't do it. It involves a lot of effort to achieve such a goal in gambling. Chances are that chasing losses from his own pocket will result to more losses. That's the usually thing in gambling, so the best thing to do is to just hodl it for the long time and probably you'll get back the money lost.

I have around 500 000 bets placed on FJ
It was a matter of time when this would happen ( placed a lot of bets on not Martingale, so it already happened a lot of times, just not with Martingale)

I got 16 losses in a row
Starting with bet 0.000001BTC
And last bet was 0.03BTC
Counting a 0.06BTC loss total

Now, my question is, should I try to win it back?

I have a total bank of around 1.6BTC on my disposal

Odds of me losing those 16 bets in a row were 0.00179%
Somewhere around 1 to 60 000

Now, if I place a 0.06BTC there's a 50.5% chance I'll lose
If I lose, I place a 0.12BTC bet,  0.505*0.505= 25.5% chance I'll lose
If I lose, I place a 0.24BTC bet, 0,255025*0,505= 12.88% chance
If I lose, I place a 0.48BTC bet, 0,128787625*0,505= 6.5% chance I'll lose

If I lose, I have a total loss of 0.48+0.24+0.12+0.06 (+0.03) = 0.9BTC (+0.03)

Is it worth it?
Should I cut my losses o.o

Odds of me losing 20 bets in a row should be 1 : 860 000
Which, with me having 500k bets, doesn't sound very good

You got into a series of losses and by some logic you should stop because it's easy to lose even more. But by some law of numbers after you lost 16 times in a row you probably should finally win in next few bets.I think the decision is just for you because money is just yours. If I was in your place I would stop for a while.Since you are in good campaign all you lost will be back to you anyway.I know it's not the same as getting a bet,but let's say it makes sense,at least for me.

If you still decide to bet good luck to you and to get back all the lost Smiley

This is exactly why gambling can never be profitable in the long run. With that mindset of hoping you can win back all of your losses, that would only result of you, losing more. It's like you're just rubbing more salt to your wound. Personally, I suggest that you let that experience be a learning lesson for you to avoid gambling anymore in order to prevent this from happening again. Let that experience grow you as an individual and mature your decision making skills when it comes to prioritizing your obligations as an respectable individual. Stop your gambling ways and move-on to the next chapter of redemption of money through investing!
we cant deny that winning is not not only the aim to gamble but i think the excitement too..if the situation is like that a series of losing then ymaybe its a lesson for us that in gambling we should put a limit. if luck dont strike on that time then maybe its better luck next time.

That's a huge loss, if I were you I'd prefer to stop gambling, find another way to cover up your losses not from gambling anymore but look again for another way of working because if you're looking for a gamble you'll only exacerbate your losses.

Stopping gambling by accepting losses must be the right remedy to prevent further losses as well to find peace of mind at least after big mind struggle. Usually no gambler will be ready to accept their losses that is the reason they keep on playing and facing further losses and summing up their losses and to some very big amount these are all definitely will lead to big frustration finally. Like many people keep saying suggesting to others is easy but following in our real life it is too hard and especially in gambling world.
