I'm assuming everyone is in favor of banning links to kiddie porn you can buy with BTC.
I'm sure most were thinking legal porn. Or at least legal somewhere in the developed world. Child porn is legal to possess and view in Russia and various other developed countries. It was legal in Japan until a few years ago, I think now it is only legal to possess and view. It might be technically illegal to possess and view in Japan, but they do not dedicate any resources whatsoever to such people.

But aren't some drugs technically illegal everywhere because of some U.N. agreement? And some countries just tolerate it? Somehow though, medical marijuana bypasses those laws...

Porn is legal. No reason in censoring for the sake of censoring.
Only in some parts of the world. In other parts of the world, drugs are legal, yet they are censored from the forums.
