I'll definitely hold my bitcoin 100% this is the best time to hold Bitcoin as the price keeps increasing, ethereum is good but I think Bitcoin is far more stable then ethereum maybe after the halving but not now..

The Ethereum price is stabilising after the recent sell off. But it might not have found the bottom yet. We may wait a little longer.
I would buy as I don't think you'll see such gud price again.

So, your 100 bitcoins turned to thousands of ETH, or something, which you used for an ETH short, which is sort of a reverse buy, so now you have 4000 bitcoins or something like that?

And where would you have shorted ETH?

That was a very good timing. Hope he did not have inside information. You can short at many exchanges. Poloniex is one.

Take all 100 bitcoins and use them to fully leverage an ETH short.

So as everyone can see, Bitcoins and Ethereum are both shooting up in value pretty fast!!

If you have 100 Bitcoins, how will you invest them??

- Leave those Bitcoins untouched and pray to God that they will cross the $1000 mark after halving?
- Convert all Bitcoins into Ethereum? There are a lot of speculations that Ethereum may shoot up to $30-$50 range over the course of the next few weeks.
- Convert 50% of those Bitcoins to Ethereum?

Let me know your thoughts..

This is quite radical Microguy. I thought you would have recommended going all in on Goldcoin. For what it's worth I would stay with Bitcoin and ride the wave up. There is very little resistance in the charts now. It could hit $1000 very soon. ETH is quite risky at this price (any price really).

I mine the Etheum. So I save most of the Ethereum as I think the price will rise a lot. I also sell some to cover my mining cost.

I may hold bitcoin more rather than convert it to ETH but thats all depends on the market no trader will sit on his/her eggs until it gets rotten.

You may be kidding, but that's not a bad thought actually, sans the full leverage.  In the back of my mind ETH could start a downtrend vs BTC sooner or later.

Same feeling here but who cares anyway  Grin.  I would be on the lesser risk decision. I will hold my bitcoin, though that full leverage thing on converting BTC to ETH is tempting but well,  might go the other way. So no converting for me.

BTC is out performing ETH at the moment.  It wouldn't make sense to get into ETH if your goal is to profit in BTC.  By doing that you're just exposing yourself to more risk vs fiat.  The safe bet, again, is to be holding 100% in BTC right now.  The minute ETH trends vs BTC, that's a good time to buy some ETH.

This is the chart of ETH/BTC.  So far there's no trend because BTC is rising faster in fiat value than ETH.  If BTC slows down and ETH continues the rise, then start looking into buying some ETH.

Well, in case of deciding to diversify, I don't know a valid reason to think that ethereum is the only option there to invest your bitcoins. Actually I think storing your bitcoins is valuable in itself and a good investment decision, but in my personal case I only would invest 20% or less of my coins to get some other altcoins, and not exclusively ethereum at this current price.

Buy ethereum.  Bitcoin is a pump and dump
Why are there always some random dudes always saying different to all other members. Why are you on a Bitcoin forum if it is a pump and dump? Go to an Ethereum forum then.

Ethereum is a pump and dump. You can't just handle it.

SHUT UP!!!

YOU'RE BOTH IDIOTS!!

Expanse was the true pump and dump (...were you there??? It was awesome - like seeing a boxer's balls!)
