This is definitely some kind of scam. I could not find any information on this wallet on a reputable site. The links on their website to their mobile apps just lead to a page with a weird timer that shows negative numbers. They say they are open source but there is no link to their code repository. The relative who recommended this wallet might be involved in the scam and is hoping you will deposit money so they can then steal it from you.

I am curious as to why the process on this website, which appears to be a scam, was stopped.
Why are you wasting your time with a scam, then?

Members have taken their time to explain to you why the wallet is a scam, but you seem to still be in a denial phase, as if the scammers will magically change their hearts and send you the BTC. I am pretty sure they will not.
The money is gone. Any attempt to send them more funds will also lead it to getting scammed.

From the given discussion it looks like the service is a scam, but have you contacted your relative regarding the issue of your relative's supposed gift to you?  Any more instruction from your relatives?  Honestly, if you are still hoping to get that amount, you should talk with the person who gifted you the amount and inquire more about the possible solutions from him since he is the user of that application.

But if it requires you to deposit funds into that platform in order to get the amount, don't.  Because in a normal BTC transaction, and adderss does not need to do any activity or spend anything in order to receive any incoming transaction.

Any service that requires anyone to deposit more funds in order to withdraw his funds is more likely a scam.  The required fee can be deducted from the funds so why do we need to pay separately?

Because it is a scam platform, as we already told you from the very beginning. Read what DdmrDdmr wrote. The content of the Terms of Service on their site is identical to that of another site: cryptoxchangepro.com, which is also a scam.  Why do you keep denying the facts?

I initiated a transfer of half of my Ziraxia Wallet funds to my Coinbase Wallet.

I received a "Transaction Failed!" notice.

I wrote to Ziraxia Wallet Support asking them why this is.

They sent me two emails:

We've told you that it's likely a scam and your transaction won't be allowed. Just give it up but I won't be surprise too if you'll bite it because of your desperation with that projected value that you're seeing on your wallet. It's not real balance, no real money is in there because they own the wallet and they can modify it against their targeted victims just like you. Look at the third image you've posted, they keep on insisting about this "extraction" shit that we've never heard from any other genuine wallets just for you to transact if ever you actually have Bitcoin balance on your wallet. Again, I'll quote it for you that they want you to deposit and even if you do so, you'll get nothing from them.

Tried with Ziraxia but they require 5% of extraction amount in transactions first.

Are you suggesting that Ziraxia is a scam website/wallet, and that they will ask for an extraction fee, but once you pay it, your account disappears?
If this is the case, I'm surely not the first one it's happened to. Wouldn't people be leaving complaints of being scammed, just like they do with other sites?
I am suggesting that it is likely a scam wallet and again you've emailed them and they replied and I'll highlight the reply by them to you which serves another sign of warning and red flag.

We do not charge fee to initiate an extraction but is advisable to have transaction activity in your wallet to facilitate the movement of the extraction.
Having this suggestion, they want you to do transaction asap just for what? Extraction? Extraction of what? Most genuine wallets won't say anything like that. All they want you to do is to keep is your private keys and even will remind you to avoid downloading fake wallets to avoid being phished or scammed or hacked. I know it's hard to swallow the pill when it is projecting you the amount of money that you should have. But it's all just a platform that they can edit any amount on someone's wallet.

There are lies, damned lies and statistics. MTwain
I Googled, "Does Ziraxia Wallet Charge An Extraction Fee" and there were two websites that gave Ziraxia very high comments <…>
But you should also take a look at the number of entries returned by Google as one of many indicators to consider. I’m seeing 46 results searching for Ziraxia Wallet, which at the bare minimum entails that there is very little "information" available, and therefore, likely something to stay clearly away from per se.

Their TOS has the exact same context as those shown on https[colon]//cryptoxchangepro[dot]com/tc[dot]php, as do other parts of their site. This latter site seems to have a track of being fraudulent, which likely places the former in the same scam sphere.

Not really worth going any further...

I understand you likely feel desperate and really want this to pan out. However, don't ignore the warnings we've pointed out here and don't be surprised when you end up with nothing. There are too many red flags and that website should not be trusted as it is most likely a scam. And don't be fooled, this type of crypto scam has been around a long time.  There's nothing unique happening here.

I called a friend that has Atomic Wallet and she said she also has to have funds to cover the cost of any type of transaction. They don't do anything for free.

That's not true. You don't need to have funds in the Atomic wallet to be able to receive funds into the wallet. That would be stupid.

By the way, Atomic wallet is also not a recommended wallet to use, especially after their recent incident [1], but at least it's a non-custodial wallet app, they have a legit company and a history in the community. Your so-called "Ziraxia wallet" has none of those things!

It looks like I'm getting scammed.
Since Ziraxia Wallet has been around for a long time, I'm sure that I'm not the first person to be scammed. I would think there would be a lot of complaints, not just 2.
I thought you said your relation was gifting you the bitcoins? You made no mention of money exchanging hands in the OP. The reason I brought up the domain age was to make a point, if the wallet is as old as a claim to be, isn’t it suspicious that they do not have a reputation in the crypto community? No one has heard of them before now.

Whatever joke your relative seems to be playing on you, it shouldn’t involve you sending money to anyone if it eventually gets to that point, you already know that it’s a scam.

I'm so thankful that there are sites like this where we can get answers.
I want to thank everyone for taking the time to read my post and getting your feedback.

I contacted support and sent them an email,
"Do you charge a 5% extraction fee when using API?
If so, do you charge it upfront or when it's 100% finished?"

I don't know why I didn't think of this before.

I Googled, "Does Ziraxia Wallet Charge An Extraction Fee" and there were two websites that gave Ziraxia very high comments.
menafn.com
abnnewswire.net

Both sites are standard press release platforms where anyone can submit paid articles. You can even see the submission link at the top: "Submit Press Release".

I did google those 2 sites, and for the most part, there is nothing but good things said about those sites.
I did enter those two sites into scam detection sites but they said they are legit.

There was a Reddit question, which a poster mentioned, but this person said that they ask for a 5% extraction fee upfront.

If this is a scam, it's a very elaborate one, where they are spending a lot of money on positive reviews.

I guess I'll just have to wait until the extraction is finished.
I'll keep everyone posted but it looks like it's going to be a long process. It averages 2% finished a day. So it will take 50 days for it to be 100%. If Ziraxia is a scam site, they are in it for the long run. They aren't quick about it.

When he used API in sending you the bitcoin, did you received it into your wallet, if not then he must be playing some prank actually on you, on a normal way, when you receive a bitcoin transaction, you will be notified through your email in case you're using a centralized exchange, or you can see the transaction details through the wallet transaction history if you're using a non custodial wallet.

When he used API in sending you the bitcoin, did you received it into your wallet
I received it in my Ziraxia wallet, but the transaction history is empty.
I don't know how API works in sending funds to another wallet but it could be an off-chain transaction since there's no transaction history.
Might they see that there's a huge fee upon sending or transferring Bitcoin so they use off-chain transactions that are commonly used in the same wallet?

If this Ziraxia wallet is open-source, exporting to another wallet is an available option?
It might good idea if you will export it into another wallet to see if there's a real Bitcoin that you receive not a prank.

Are you suggesting that Ziraxia is a scam website/wallet, and that they will ask for an extraction fee, but once you pay it, your account disappears?

That is certainly a very likely possibility. No legitimate business would charge a fee to "extract" your funds. If there is a legitimate fee associated with their terms of service, it should be deducted from your balance on the platform, and not require a new deposit to cover it.

If this is the case, I'm surely not the first one it's happened to. Wouldn't people be leaving complaints of being scammed, just like they do with other sites?

Someone always has to be first. Why shouldn't it be you?

The domain is old which means they have been around for some years but there are also red flags to consider.

Having an old domain doesn't necessarily mean the website or company behind it is legitimate or trustworthy.  And it doesn't guarantee that it has a good reputation or is free from scams or malicious activity.

You can check the website's archives to verify this. A few years ago, the same domain was used to sell T-shirts.

I don't think you are scammed because you didn't even said that you send funds and you only said that you are only receiving funds unless you make a deposit then I would say that you are scammed. Anyway, I think your relative is  doing a prank on you and the wallet that you use is I am also not familiar with it or never heard of it. If you didn't spend a single cent then you are not scammed kf that's what you worry about but as I have explained that if you do then you are getting scammed and pranked by your relative.

"Ziraxia Wallet: Known for its reliability, efficiency, and robust security features, ZiraxiaWallet remains a trusted choice in the market. Its open-end API Server enables integration with third-party software for enhanced functionality."
It’s my first time to hear of this Ziraxia wallet. I did a quick Google search and also saw the same article on the first page. Google ads are not a reliable source of information as google do not verify their authenticity before posting. If this is the only reason you trust the sites, then you’re dead wrong. There’s very little information on the Internet about this wallet. Only times it comes up on Reddit and Github is on a scam discussion thread

I also checked for any scam history and found none. The domain is old which means they have been around for some years but there are also red flags to consider.

I have never come across that type and name of that wallet.
I did a Google search for Ziraxia Wallet and it's a legitimate wallet. All I found were positive reviews.
It is really an unknown wallet and first time to hear that. Not all good reviews that you see as per these wallets and services are legitimate. Many can be done by someone who's got paid to leave a positive feedback. So I did some research about it and found this thread on reddit.

Is extraction possible with api key? Tried with Ziraxia but they require 5% of extraction amount in transactions first. Is this normal pre-requisite?
I guess that I was right that they might ask you some certain amount of money before you'll be able to withdraw so that's a sign that it's likely a scam wallet because of that procedure. I think that it's hard for you to accept when you see those fake numbers with that wallet. Sorry to say that there's no easy free money nowadays especially in Bitcoin and that relative of yours if he's really your relative, just tried to scam you.
