Guys, I would share my big winnings with you if I had them Grin But still the biggest one was about AU$1,000 (during two weeks or around), but I lost way more money in online casinos. This is normal for me. I know that I will lose and have no illusion about great winnings at all.

Maybe I can take a break to treat my addiction, even though I don't know one day I'll play again.
Beat it.

You take the rest and make sure to get back your enthusiasm for your job. It's a big thing to you and that addiction will mess you up. Do not settle for it and quit slowly as much as you can.

It's already affecting your job for which it shouldn't if you're a responsible gambler. But by the looks of it, you really have to do something such as quitting or being abstain from gambling.
blessed. Honestly, what bothers me is when I often think 'I should have won earlier' and imagine having a lot of money because I've won, I'm still trying to cut back on playing, even though I'm still opening a site where I play once a week.
Well, that's a normal thinking of a gambler.

You'll feel regret and having that thoughts of what if is very normal. But as you've said, you also need to feed your mind that you have to understand that you need to take a rest.

Things are no longer good as gambling affects more important things in your life and that's what you need to focus first. Take back on track with your job before you settle for gambling cravings again.

I'm still trying to cut back on playing, even though I'm still opening a site where I play once a week.

It's never too late to change your life around. I think it would be a good idea for you to set a weekly / monthly gambling budget and stick to it. If you don't, you could end up spending more money than you can afford to lose, which can lead to real problems in your life.

It's all about finding the right balance for your life. Enjoy yourself and see if you can cut back a little bit.

After reading this topic, I thought that really gambling addiction leads to some kind of endorphin production processes, or I really don't know what to call such substances.  And the body gets used to them and requires all the new portion of these substances.  If this is such a mechanism of addiction to gambling, then theoretically it can be somehow cured by taking drugs that block the production of a substance by the body itself.  Maybe there are even effective medications?  Well, of course, you also need willpower to understand that you must give up such an addiction, heal from it.
Maybe they need to go to hypnotherapy that can dive into their minds because that can help them block addiction thinking that has already happened to them. I prefer to do that thing than consume some medications that can make them addicted to that medicine. But the strong medicine will be on themselves and with a big effort and willingness to cure the addiction and help their family, they will succeed in solving the addiction problem. I think that also helps the drug addiction and in this way, consulting with a psychiatrist will be better.
This approach to solving the problem of gambling addiction is probably the most reasonable.  Indeed, all these drugs, all the chemicals that are injected into the body can also lead to addiction.  And this method should be used only if the treatment with a psychotherapist did not give the desired effect.  Probably it is right to start with hypnosis sessions, or maybe just with a conversation with a psychotherapist.  Medication is already the next and last stage of such treatment.
I think that is because the addiction, no matter what the addiction is, related to our consciousness and subconsciousness. So if we go to a psychotherapist who can tell our subconsciousness that playing gambling can give damage to our lives, our minds will respond and will create a blockade not to play gambling. It is about talking to the inside of our body and minds and souls to have a new vision for our life that we have a second chance to start a new life without having any addiction to something that can make our life in danger. It is not about win or lose again but it is about how we can save our life.

Of course, abruptly and completely in an instant to abandon gambling is the most correct and effective decision, which greatly affects the future life and destiny.
However, not everyone can do this.
If, for example, you smoke cigarettes for many years, try to smoke a cigarette in an instant and say to yourself: "Well, that's it, this was" last cigarette in my life ... Grin"
I've quit smoking many times and I know how difficult it is.  It turned out I can't even say from what time, maybe 20 times I quit smoking ...  Smiley
And I still want to smoke, I just don't have the strength to cope.
Here's something similar with gambling addiction.
It can also fail many times to stop playing and stop losing.
But you still have to try and try to quit playing.

Gambling consciously will be more difficult to recover if gambling but triggered by addictive substances. Maybe the transition should be stronger than the strong will to gamble.
A strong willingness to stop the addiction and keep trying to avoid gambling is one thing you must do. Maybe it will be difficult for you, but as long as you have that willingness and help from other people, I am sure you will have a chance to recover from gambling and leave gambling forever. The important is you have your own will to stop gambling before it ruins your lives.
How long do you usually recover from a gambling addiction? Lately I feel lazy to do my actual job, even I prefer to enter the gambling site and my real work becomes neglected.
Meaning you have lots of Funds to gamble even without working? because for us to gamble we must have allocated budget because we cannot play in free, Unless you are playing free spins in freebitco.in lol

I sometimes have that same feeling of desire to gamble and prevent my daily job but My Wife keeps encouraging me and boosting me to focus in real life and neglect the call to gamble.

Why now let some person beside you to push you when time like this comes .

Gambling addiction isn't something you can ignore for a week, or two weeks, or even a month, or two. If you are serious about tackling your gambling addiction, you'll need time, and the right support.

Trying to overcome a gambling addiction can be like pulling your teeth. If you don't do what you know needs to be done, nothing will change.
And, more often than not, it's not something you can tackle on your own. You need to get help from someone who is qualified to deal with gambling addiction and recovery.

I can`t say how it works because gambling for me just a fun. Now i can spend some time and money and leave gambling when i want, but several years ago i tried to get money from gambling. That time i couldn`t stop betting and trying to win or to return lost money. In this situation i understood that i don`t get any positive results or emotion from gambling and stopped. And i still want to gamble sometimes, when see a good chance to win.
I think you ought to think about gambling from another side - what do you get from it?

Not until they experienced a hard thing like losing too much money or sometimes even losing a family and that makes them decide to change their ways.
There are many ways to stop the addiction of gambling sites or casinos or even small gambling in our homes. You are both correct as it was the primary way to stop the addiction but based on what I've heard from my neighbors who are addicted to gambling but now they leave forever in their lives. Is that if you made a decision make sure your stand for it if you decide to leave gambling you must control/discipline yourself one order to leave such thing.

Maybe it will be difficult for you, but as long as you have that willingness and help from other people,
Help from family members or love ones is the best tool to fight addiction.
the willingness of a person is always there you need to use that in a good way and best example is what you've already said helping in our family, friends and love ones is the best gift for them.

till time happens, addiction will still be in his life and that is the struggle of every addicted gambler
There's a chance to recover from any addiction as long as you are willing to do so and what I've mentioned above discipline is the best thing you need to avoid such things.

So far I haven't gotten the biggest win in gambling, but I'm very sure if later luck will definitely be on my side, slots and poker are my favorite games that I often play on gambling sites and the wins I get may not be as big as the members others here get it, but it seems big or small the victory we get is better for us to screet it from others.
I have not place bet since the beginning of this new year which I am trying hard not to start this year with gambling. We all know that addictive gambling has its own effect. I am still observing and not yet ready to be place bet. Before the end of last I lost a big fund which I'm trying my possible best to act normal like nothing happens. Its hard but I gat no choice.
a short break in gambling is very good for recuperating, there are also many gamblers out there who are self-healing after losing a lot of money while gambling. I certainly hope you can quickly forget your defeat and try to play again to restore your lost capital.

I see in this forum specifically on gambling channels are those who only offer to play at their place. I want the good news of the victory to be delivered in a thread. That's why I created this thread. Show your victory, that you play gambling not only waste money but make. BTC

I think Op's purpose here is to ask for shared stories so others will be inspired but to be honest, most people would prefer privacy nowadays. If I would win a huge amount, I would also keep it in private but will still share my story and experience on how I won. Unfortunately, I haven't been so lucky in gambling yet though I'm trying to look for games that would give me good winnings.
