Another person flat betting draining the bankroll. Different % to mateo but god damn are they eating those investors up.

If dooglus is reading, do you keep track of DB's daily profits? Haven't been checking daily myself but the last time I checked recently the site was over 300 BTC in profit.

Here's the last week:

The screenshots you posted are pretty compelling evidence.

I guess it's possible you faked them, but I don't see why you would.

It looks like the site has been caught cheating again, this time it's a little more sophisticated than the last, because the skipped bets are now being inserted after you randomize.

DB's failure to even attempt to address your concerns is very alarming. Why was the withdrawal transaction sent to a different address than the address you requested? Why was your winning bet skipped? Why was the stake of your last bet adjusted after you randomized? It's hard to find any reasonable explanation other than the obvious one.

Thank you doog

Did you get your withdrawal yet? Or any contact from DB about it?

Okay from looking at my logs, it seems like they turned the "nonce skipper" / "fake bet injector" on and off several times.   I'll post more complete logs tomorrow.

Dooglus, would you please weigh in on this?  Specifically: on the bogus withdrawal and manipulated bets?

Why are the people still playing and investing in DB (still over 1500 btc in the bankroll), when it has been caught cheating not once but twice?!

Perhaps these players and investors are not reading Bitcointalk. With the chat disabled on the site there isn't really any indication that something might be wrong.

I am so confused what is actually happening with this site?

Is it legit?  It is safe?  Are they bringing back the sig campaign?  Whats going on!?

There are still unexplained things going on at DB.  Previously it was deliberate fraud, now there's a question about verifying bets and skipped bets.  I don't see where DB's admin can go with this.  When it comes to betting, verification, payouts and logs, the site has to be perfect.  100% bug free.

The latest explanation from the admin was that a value was updated in the database but not the user interface.  It doesn't address other allegations, and also raises concerns about the programming done.  Why DB's admin would store the same value in multiple locations is a mystery.  Surely that opens up the easy possibility of errors if one location is changed but not another.

When problems are raised the official line from DB's admin appears to be 'why are you still playing here, go away, I don't need you'.

NO, it is not safe. They've been caught cheating again, and they ripped off someone who managed to win by not paying him over 160 btc that he won. DO NOT DEPOSIT HERE.

Dicebitcoin, what is your excuse this time for skipping the nonce, faking the bet history, and claiming the 168.9999 btc withdrawal is processed when the destination address is wrong?

they won't make any excuse now coz they've been caught twice already. Its already foolish if they make another excuse

I don't know. May be they have hired another new staff recently lol. Wink

Frankly speaking after they locked the thread last time, I was expecting they to run away with everyone's bitcoin.
To my surprise, they came back, (make up a story to) explain what happened, and regain a certain degree of trust from gamblers and investors.

I don't remember exactly either. We did change the provably fair algorithm to use the nonce in multiple places rather than just one, but I don't think nakowa noticed or cared.

I'd like to claim I was instrumental in this change. I kept mentioning it to dooglus after I had bet 1.2 million times, ... something along the lines of "you are changing only 1 byte at a time in a predictable way" ... and "the hash of 0001 will not be the same as the hash of 0002, therefore the roll will be different among the uniform distribution of the hash function".

Then, I realized, we've been using HMAC, which uses the hash twice, so the changes don't matter, and what I said is no longer true (okay, fine, maybe it was never true, even if using the bare SHA256/512 hash.)

BTW doog, I have a post on your thread asking about your server specs. Smiley I read something you posted on the 2+2 poker forum and I'm inspired; something like "I spent $0 on it." heheheheh. Some doofus was ranting that just-dice had a hyphen.

I remember when Nakowa was having his way with Just Dice and cleaning out the investors.  During a break from betting dooglus changed the was seeds were used or calculated (details are buried on this forum) and after that Nakowa started to hand back his winnings when betting resumed.  Of course, Nakowa accused dooglus of rigging the site even though it was still provably fair.  Nakowa said the game just didn't 'feel' the same.

I don't remember exactly either. We did change the provably fair algorithm to use the nonce in multiple places rather than just one, but I don't think nakowa noticed or cared. I think what got him mad was when we cut the max profit per bet from 1% of the bankroll to 0.25% (we put put back up to 0.5% a couple of days later). That won't have changed the rolls at all, but he seemed to think it stopped him being able to win. I suggested that if he just scaled all his bets down by a factor of 4 it would have no effect at all, and he would continue to win, just 4 times slower.
