Right, Paypal only covers up to a certain amount. And also the miners would likely be categorized as some sort of computer and not industrial equipment.

Very odd there's not been any real conversation for a while here... maybe people are just waiting for deals to fulfill to come back and say what's happened.

So far the communication has been good.

I did call PayPal and talked to a nice Indian sounding sounding lady.  I gave her the store e-mail address "[email protected]" and the transaction name of "PayPal * EBAYINEDKOV" and she told me the transaction would be covered by paypal protection.  I asked her if bitcoin miners were considered industrial machinery (not covered) and she asked be for the name "Antminer S9".  I was put on hold and she came back to tell me that it would be covered.  I only recorded the last half of the phone call.

I don't know if it helps anyone or not.  The PayPal phone number I used was 1-888-221-1161

In a few days we will move everything to another place where I can take pictures for you and I'll post them here.
Is that OK?
We have our concerns why this and why that as you have yours.

HashWare - Mining solutions for everyone!
afaik paypal buyer protection is only upto a certain amount of money.
once it reaches that and goes above they tend to side with the seller.
i also do not understand the issue why he won't post the proof here rather in PM. in theory we can just take it and paste it here right? so whats the point?

About the proof - I repeated a few times(however no one send me a message) - If you want a proof, just PM me, as Andrew do it and receive it.
If you have a real interest in buying miners you will contact me and we will arrange the deal.
Otherwise you are just here to CAPS LOCK "SCAMMER" and give me negative trust without even talked to me or traded at all.

Cheers!

I sent you an e-mail about the proof/documentation.  Did you get it?  I can't send you a PM.

^I don't know... but ask him for them privately if you are really interested. He sent one with his name and date on it plus pictures of them running... etc.

For everyone's edification, check out Paypal's Buyer Protection policy:

https://www.paypal.com/ch/webapps/mpp/ua/buyerprotection-full?locale.x=en_CH

It is my understanding that Paypal will hold funds for up to 21 days unless certain criteria are met (like the seller's account is in good standing with plenty of deals).

If you follow all of those policies I don't see what could go wrong.

And I will say that the OP has been really responsive for every request I've made so far. I think this forum has so many scammers on it that a lot of people jump to conclusions and get an attitude before allowing people to prove anything.

All that said, will post how the transaction goes either way.

This is wrong. Escrow add ZERO time to the transaction. You can ship the products as fast or as slow as the agreement states. Escrow uses Crypto transfers. There is no added time.

I got pictures with his name and miners, some of this paypal information, etc. Like many things in life you cannot be 100% sure.

But I'm definitely paying in Paypal goods and services and have documentation of what is supposed to be shipped... so I'm hoping nothing goes wrong. Smiley

Let us know if it goes to plan and I'll remove negative trust. All seems a bit suspect to me.

Hedgy a bit....no pics no escrow.  Brave soul buying them through paypal as that is not always a guaranteed return of funds.  Good luck andrew

Guys, in my situation using escrow means a lot of things.
First of all I'm not selling 1,2 or 3 miners.
I'm selling miners that mine as I write this post.
Using escrow means loosing a lot of money, not for the escrow fee, but for the mining.
If I use escrow to sell all the miners i'll lose about 10K. It's a simple math and the money always talk.
As I said in the first post we are selling S9 for alt crypto miners.
Fast money means less loses and fast buying the new hardware. It's that simple.

In discussion to buy the 18 broken S9s. Will post here if we get a deal finalized.

I'll take a random guess nothing will happen there, the guy doesn't have any miners its 100% scam.

He will disappear into oblivion like every other lame scammer on here until they create a new account to try and steal from innocent people again which should be in a few days.

Yet another newbie trying to sell miners with no proof of ownership and refusing escrow.

Scam until proven otherwise.
