Investing in bitcoin is definitely necessary. This is the most popular coin on the market. And bitcoin in the near future will actively grow. Since all Muslim countries will now be able to invest in cryptocurrencies. In the near future we will be able to observe active growth.

What will be the benefits from using your wallet comparing to other options? Thanks

Check Sibcoin tech, its a Dash fork, but improved in many ways.

what exactly did they improve?

So ivanr, will we go to 2k masternodes? Smiley

what you say is... turn off 1k nodes with 5$ vps... and go to 2k nodes with 10$ minimum?

isnt that the same as now?

can you please elaborate us, what can we gain with this if price is low as now

thanks

Rux, Crypto.ba

i belive its still a good idea, maybe the nodes can be optimised so a 5$ server can handle it, and if not its still 1/2 of the work when nodes fall, i belive thet its easyer to setup one 2000sib node then 2 1000sib nodes.

And i belive thet the reward should be higher, because some od the one node owners fill be kicked.

Totally agree with ivanR. I'd even make tiered MNs like 1k, 5k, 20k. But that requires some development... CropCoin has recently upgraded to support tiered MNs.

One more thing: do I have to keep the win wallet running? It's eating up 40% of my CPU! Core i5, wtf...

About masternodes

At the moment, the number of masternodes in the network is such that payouts for one node don't allow to pay for a server, which should be powerful enough to provide additional functionality besides the basic one. A large number of nodes work at the limit of their capabilities.

In this regard, I propose to increase the collateral requirement for one masternode in a half, up to 2000 SIB. This will reduce the number of masternodes in the network from 9000 to 4500, but this will allow masternode owners to buy more powerful hardware or VPS for the nodes. In my opinion, this is a necessary step to start the work of a decentralized exchange. However, this is a significant change in the network operation (hardfork) and in my opinion requires the adoption of this decision by a qualified majority of node holders (75% yes votes).

Therefore, I consider it necessary to put this issue to the vote.

The deposit for masternode should be exactly 1000 coins
So you should run 10 masternodes

And there's another question I've got: is there stacking in Sibcoin? If I got, say 10k coins, should I run 10 MNs to get the most profit? Or can I just run 1 and skate 9k?

Trying to join the English Slack channel but it says "invite limit reached".

Can you post a new invite link please?

Hi, please join with this link https://join.slack.com/t/sibcoin/shared_invite/enQtMzA2ODk3NzQxMTUzLWQ3MDUxN2U3OWIxYjEzY2M0MWFlNmQ3NzNjODEzMWE0NjU4OWM4MWY0YTMwNDRkMDVkZTM0MjhjMDU4YzcyZGU

This link is also no longer available. Could you please post another one.
I still have a few questions nobody has answered yet:
1. How should a proper sibcoin.conf look like? With regards to running Sentinel on windows (I got static IP, so don't need VPS).
2. This is what happens when I try to run Sentinel (with sibcoin.conf provided as "--config=..."):
Code:
Sentinel runs every 1 minute
2018-03-06 22:55 Running sentinel
[Errno 10061] No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it
Cannot connect to desired. Please ensure desired is running and the JSONRPC port is open to Sentinel.

My sibcoin.conf looks like this:
Code:
rpcuser=asdfasadf
rpcpassword=asdfasdf
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
masternode=1
masternodeprivkey=....
externalip=46.188.45.34:1945

Which port does sentinel use? I've opened 1945, is there anything else I should open?
