That can happen if the shitposter joins bounty campaigns that don't have any merit or reputational requirement. But signature campaigns that pay a decent amount of BTC per week to their partakers usually take users from full members to Legendary; and now the merit system requires that people get at least 100 merits to get the full member rank, and other ranks have their merit requirements too, i don't think a shitposter can earn 100 merits and above
There are still plenty of shitposting old era high ranking accounts that are regularly getting into good paying bitcoin signature campaigns so its not like all of them have to start from scratch. Something like that was much harder just a few years ago as number of campaigns were much lower, but situation changed drastically in that regard and its the sellers market at the moment.

i don't think a shitposter can earn 100 merits and above, it would be very difficult, and if there are some of them that may manage to get it in somehow, they are very few in number
That was maybe in the past, but at the moment there's enough merit being shared that even a shitposters can earn decent amount of merit. Not maybe enough to be ahead of the activity like a decent and above posters usually do, but eventually they can reach medium ranks like Full Member/Sr Member.

Bitcoin signatures campaigns are often expensive but Token bounty/signatures campaigns are very profitable:

  • They get promoted here, on twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and even free articles for their token.
  • More distribution of those tokens that will create liquidity and thus promotion Here it is the cheapest ever.
  • Promotional campaigns require some form of identity verification, or a large amount of money.
  • The level of views is high on the forum, and most of us have bought and sold bitcoins at least once.
  • Some gambling service cant ads outside this forum

So bounty campaigns are the cheapest way to promote your project with a good return on views compared to other places where you will pay a lot to promote your service.

When you're hired by the campaign manager, the reason must be that you're a good poster. However, this is not the same reason why you get paid. You get paid because of the number of posts that you did. You must have noticed that you and a much better poster with the same rank in the same campaign that you're in are paid equally per post. This means post quality doesn't matter anymore.

That you're hired is a matter of quality. That you're paid is a matter of valid posts. I'm not sure, but there might be campaigns, however, in which the manager reserves the right not to count otherwise valid posts due to their poor quality.

There are two philosophies in this type of advertising.

The first is to make other see the signature, so it will look familiar to them, and you will remember it when you want to use a specific service
The second is the quality of participation. When someone posts a high-quality post, I will stop to read it, and thus have a greater chance of viewing and clicking on the advertisement.

In short, it is more related to viewing the advertisement and keeping it in the conscious memory of the brain than just clicking.

There's no doubt they pay you for your posts, but they hire campaign managers for a reason. Campaign managers aren't here just to see the total number and pay, they also check for the quality of posts made, else why would the service need a campaign manager to advertise anything? Why won't they hire posters themselves and just pay them for the advertisement?

Taking it the way you are saying will change the perspective of many posters who are still trying to improve their posting quality and they will just try to complete the quota anyhow thinking that the campaign manager will pay even for shitposts made by users, but that's not the scenario here. There's also something called spamming if you know the meaning of it, it's also not allowed. And then, there's post bursting which will lower your chances of getting accepted in any campaigns here after you get kicked from a campaign for that reason. So, quality is required for which campaign managers are here. I will not give any example here because almost all the campaign managers do their job in a great way.

Only BTC
Regarding the bolded part, that was maybe the case years ago but situation now is completely different. There's way more spots in signature campaigns than there are quality members and that happened due combination of increased amount of campaigns and decreased number of active members. Result of that is that even shitposters can get into one and earn decent amount of bitcoin.
That can happen if the shitposter joins bounty campaigns that don't have any merit or reputational requirement. But signature campaigns that pay a decent amount of BTC per week to their partakers usually take users from full members to Legendary; and now the merit system requires that people get at least 100 merits to get the full member rank, and other ranks have their merit requirements too, i don't think a shitposter can earn 100 merits and above, it would be very difficult, and if there are some of them that may manage to get it in somehow, they are very few in number. I believe most signature campaigns are dominated with decent-average-quality posters.

Hello Leo! You can still win.
I want to ask whether we are paid because we are very good quality post maker and they like our post so they gave us reward  or primary purpose of the compaign is to advertise the project through signature banner?

Both happens together.
The project owners may not know who makes quality posts or not, first they engage a campaign manager who will in turn hire you because he likes your post.
From there you will get paid for what you post weekly, but then you don't go ahead posting unethical things or things prohibited by the forum.
Always remember that besides the project owners and the campaign managers, there is a forum and her rules. I said thus because I have seen countless times where people promoting a particular project gets permanently banned in the forum.

Yes I checked . There is different criteria and different rules of Every BM. Bounty Detective accept Signature participants on first come first serve base and not looking for any latest merit recieved or Low quality post maker. If you are inactive from 2 year and applied first You will be preferred.

Senior Users like Royse777,joeperry, Hhumpuz of Service announcement look for quality , trust and mostly DT members accepted.

One thing clear from above all replies that Advertising is the main purpose of signature and I hope my friend should have read all comments about this

I am some discussion with one my senior friend about primary purpose of Bitcointalk signature compaign reward.
I want to ask whether we are paid because we are very good quality post maker and they like our post so they gave us reward  or primary purpose of the compaign is to advertise the project through signature banner?

Well, i would say that the primary purpose of the campaign is to spread the project awareness through the signature and Avatar but we need to think that the company will benefit more, if the more reputed members of the forum wear that particular signature.
So in my point of view, the company wants to advertise through signatures but at the same time, they will be needing quality and reputed posters to further strengthen their campaign.

The very reason of this is we advertise there project here by posting and replying good and quality posts, posting such thing should be an iniative of every forum member. They pay us like other ads like on televisions but they can't have there expected "customers" if they use television since most of the people would'nt understand it. That is why here on the forum we replies/post wearing their signature and avatar since the expected customers are here.
of course its because you're wearing their signature and banner reason you get paid. And also they will not choose you to join if you are not a good poster and for them you cannot give a contribution on their campaign because that's a requirements to identify which user can really post a constructive and can get attention of other users.. So that's it the whole thing when it comes signature campaign, wherein it's all about advertising..
Nowadays campaign managers often/mostly pick those who has a lot of merits since it shows that having good quality post results for a merit. Joining campaigns also contributes to the forum in a way that most participants do their jobs.

You're already a member rank for you not to know this,

And you have posted in the service section it's hard not to catch or even take a look at these signature campaigns, but anyway we are rewarded with merits as a good quality poster and we can use these merit rewards to rank and qualify to apply to signature campaigns where we receive rewards in Bitcoin and other coins for Crypto for posting because every time we post, the banner of the project we are promoting and paying us shows on our post,

The forum has nothing to do with it, all campaigns are handled by third parties they handle promotions and recruiting and approving members that deserve to promote projects that they are handling.

The main purpose is definitely for advertising. See, the forum have millions of members (not sure how many are active), so that's a good marketing if members would see their signatures in this forum. Of course, they will hire a campaign manager to choose the participants of the forum, and would hire those who are fit for the job.

It's one of the reasons why this forum is very popular, take that signature campaign out and the number of members and its activity will certainly reduce.

The main purpose of signature campaigns is to advertise and promote a service or product; in our case, it's usually a cryptocurrency casino or a mixing service, and Bitcointalk is the perfect place for them because their audience is being reached. The majority of us use crypto, and a large portion of the forum also gambles; this is an ideal world for both.

It's perfectly understandable that advertisers are after quality users who put some thought and time into their posts, since they are more likely to be read and interacted with by other users. For instance, I often tend to skip posts made from 1xbit's signature campaign since the majority of them post gibberish and spam. With that being said, campaign managers place several requirements and are careful in picking their participants. You're being paid to "represent" the company being advertised in some way; thus, you need to meet certain requirements.

Just like a billboard that provides advertising services, the same thing in forums, there is a signature space in our account to spread it, if the manager chooses it we are paid, if not, the advertisement is empty in our signature space.

The goal is for accounts that are quality in their posts to contribute more to the forum then the manager will usually choose that person, so the goal is for advertising and after that you will be rewarded in the form of payment.

Renting advertisements also has to look for a strategy, not randomly choose a place.

Gift how ? why ? Signature campaigns fall under the bracket of marketing, and anybody who turns out to be a participant of that signature campaign is an Agent of the company trying to sell the services of what the offer to forum members in exchange of a payment which one gets from the sig itself on a weekly basis and not to be mistaken for a gift.

Purpose of the "campaign" reward is for your to spend. Is that not obvious? Grin

You get selected if the manager thinks you are a good quality poster, so that first point gets ruled out right at the beginning of joining. So the primary purpose of the campaign is the advertisement of the project. If you will remain in bitcoin paying signature campaigns which are the "cream layer" then you will feel as if the purpose of the campaign is to pay you.

I used to be a part of a forum that pays members for posting on their forum one of these is Bizindustry not promoting this forum but just giving you an example, but the payment per post is only a few cents, and the forum owners control the payment, here in Bitcointalk the control is on the third party which is the managers of the campaigns.
The signature space is one of the features of forum script and they allow the administrators or third party to monetize the forum, but in the case of Bitcointalk, it's the third-party managers that utilize its uses.

Both purpose.
The campaign manager is in the process of selection of their participants while the company itself will just pay for the advertisement. So, both are shouldering the responsibility of maximizing the potential results of the campaign.
And not just in signature campaign that you'll get in having quality posts but you can do article writing and expand into that and so on, that is if you want to maximize your writing capabilities as well.

You need to apply and the campaign manager picked you because you are a quality poster before you can participate in a bounty campaign and get paid for your participation it's not the forum that rewards you but the online companies that commissioned the campaign, the signature advertiser is a popular way to advertise products and services because of the discussions and topics and if the forum is popular like Bitcointalk many readers will see and read the discussions and that's where the signature banners play its part
