Have anyone try this miner https://github.com/Optiminer/OptiminerZcash ?

yup...faster than SAv5. But I'm sure SA will catch up soon

Edit: maybe not as stable, just had a crash.

Tongas work great (R9 380 -> 84 sol/s)

Any hint why the solver ist 2 times SLOWER in V5 compared to V4 ?

Try running with ./silentarmy --instances=1 option, it is faster on my nvidia cards with one instance

And replace main.c with this, then rebuild

Sorry no same with the changed main.c :

Yes it's faster, with 3 Rx 480 I've got from ~265 sol/s with silentarmy to 310 - 365 sol/s with this. But it crashed on GPU #0 after ~10 minutes and only a reset helped with it, so my vote is on silentarmy! You are doing great guys!

I don't think SILENTARMY is optimized for the Kepler architecture.
Yes, it not uses atomic operations on local memory which supported only on GCN GPUs, Maxwell and Pascal.

For some reason, my 295x2 hashes best with 2 instances (90sol per GPU), while my 470 8G hashes best with a single instance (75-80sol).

I am currently running two copies of the miner to achieve this.

Is there a way to specify the number of instances per GPU in the command line?

EDIT:
One more thing, my 470 (75-80sol) is finding shares faster than my 295x2 (185-190sol). Any possible explanation for why this is happening?

Started the two miners at roughly the same time. Here you can see that by the time both miners got job a1a, the 470 has found 10 more shares than the 295x2.
