What really differentiate forex and crypto in terms of it approach,is the volatility same.
In principle, it doesn't matter which asset you trade. Equities, gold, real estate, gemstones, crypto, ... the markets all behave the same: they go up and they go down, sometimes more predictably (beginning bull runs, ...), sometimes less. If you are already using risk management for forex, you can continue to do so for crypto.

But I would give you one tip: You have most likely used leverage in your forex trades. Please don't use it in crypto or you'll be out of the market sooner than you'd like. Crypto has good enough volatility to be able to trade the coins on smaller timeframes, you don't have to add extra leverage and seal your own doom faster Wink

Trading strategy is the same but the approach should be different, you need to be aggressive in crypto trading since it's more volatile.

And how can one become an affiliate in altcoins for exchanges...
It's basic to become affiliate in crypto fo exchanges and crypto/altcoins, check if the platform have affiliate partnership, sign up, get your tracking urls, share it, then wait until someone register under your affiliate link.

...and also hold some Bitcoin for long runs maybe 2 yrs
Holding bitcoin for a long run needs a proper practice and proper knowledge on how to do it. Usually people uses non-custodial wallets, airgapped device and/or hardware wallet, these are all called cold-wallets.

Bitcoins and Forex are completely different. The prices of the coins and stocks completely varies on different occasions. So I hardly doubt that same strategy can give you profits here. Regarding the referral link, each member has a unique one and they can share it to earn commissions. You asked about investing for 2 years in Bitcoins, then that’s actually a good decision. Investing has less risk than trading and profit is also guaranteed most of the time.

I don't wanna miss the treasures in crypto Market and the more I try to dig, it gets more confusing
I need a strong, oriented and right take on this guys....

Haste will make you make the wrong decision, study it carefully and even though it will take longer, it will be much better than forcing yourself to start immediately but it turns out you are not ready for all the possibilities that will happen.
Holding Bitcoin for a period of two years might be profitable but it really depends on when you start buying it, because if you start when the price is high you might start to doubt that Bitcoin can give you a profit because the price starts to fall and you don't have the patience to waiting for it to rise again, so it's better to study carefully even if you have to miss the train for the current bullish period but you won't regret it because you started with the right knowledge.

If you are familiar with forex, I don't think you will have many problems when you traying trading with crypto. The TA is the same thing, just needs a little adjustment. You also can read for the fundamentals in this forum or other media.

Maybe you will find crypto movements that are more volatile than forex, and this is what the crypto world is like. Maybe you need to get to know the markets and coins that available in crypto. I suggest you search for it at https://coinmarketcap.com/ or https://coingecko.com. There you can find various information about markets and coins.

Forex
-Less volatile
-Regulated

Crypto/Bitcoin
-Very volatile
-Non-regulated coins/projects
-More risky i should say
Why speaking of regulation if you can make use of legit crypto exchanges you have nothing to be worried about but just that you should trade good assets like bitcoin.

What that is more important is to know when to average, or to use just 1x leverage, and when not to trade.

Forex is less volatile but forex traders can go for 1000x leverage. So how is crypto more volatile when leverage is also used for forex. You can look for forex traders and see how risky forex is will be what they will tell you. But I will say you still have good points though.

They are different markets with different formulas, rules for trading, leverage, futures and different regulations. So they will be affected differently by regulatory news and the likes.

Even in a same market, you have different operations of different assets and here you are facing with bigger issues, different assets in different market.

If you want to learn about trading.
Awesome crypto trading.

My reminder is trading is very risky and it's better if you don't trade, but invest in safest cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

You need to know the basics of Bitcoin, including creating a wallet, keeping seeds, cold storage, buying Bitcoin from platforms and keeping it until the middle of next year and selling it by next June. Thus, you will have achieved a long-term investment with a good return.

During this period, learn more about trading, as trading will be easier and more profitable in the coming months. To learn trading, you need to know the basics of trading, including support and resistance points, moving averages, and Fibonacci analyses.

Start trading using a demo account, which enables you to learn without buying Bitcoin, and when you have experience, start trading with your money.

Strategies might slightly differ, but the principle is the same.

Crypto market movements are highly volatile, so you will need to adjust a lot of things such as risk management strategies and take profits
