It's sad that they scammed one more person, but the good news is that at least they won't be scamming anyone else using the fake website. Perhaps they will abandon the domain and try using another one.

simpleswap.io which is the legit service is still online, thou I am seeing some negative reviews on their trustpilot page too. I would be careful using their service too.

Why did you choose to trust them? I mean that the real exchange site of the site is https://simpleswap.io/ NOT https://www.simpleswap.O R G /, they are scammers who use that name to scam others.
I cannot confirm whether simpleswap.io is trusted or not, but it appears to be more reliable than simpleswap.O R G.
Sorry for your loss, learn to make sure that you are visiting the real site.

thanks for the answer .. i was very stupid .. but i would like to know if there is a way to try to recover this loss, it is very difficult .. practically impossible .. i don't understand how i could do this ... .. i also don't understand how eh it is possible for fake sites to be on the air, stealing stupid people like me ..
Why would you even try out those unknown sites when there are already tons of trusted exchange,
I guess you are also cutting those trading and withdrawal fee's but it is better to be safe than sorry this might be a lesson for you.
Instead of cutting some payment you lose all of it.
But I couldn't blame you I also like the idea of instantly having what we trade in just a few confirmation sadly there aren't any instant trading site that is free to use just like shapeshift.io,
They now require to have an account in order to use their platform unlike back in the old days when we would just choose what kind of crypto to deposit and to receive.

I find it sad that another user took part in a swap in good faith but was scammed. You should report them to the company where they host their website: https://hyperhost.ua/en

Their social media links in the footer all going to SimpleSwap.io so you should tell the real SimpleSwap team about this issue because right now maybe they are unaware of the scam doppelganger and if they start to get involved it just get the fake site shut down and help protect other users.

For those interested this is the link to the real Trustpilot website: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/simpleswap.org

I am sorry about your loss but thankfully you did not send more and get scammed out of more money.

maybe, if simpleswap.io was the real site and I used it to make this conversation, and it went well, I wouldn’t have done this post, if I had / am well enough to have checked the information before I did any shit , I would not have written this post, if ... if this, if that ... but I didn't do any of that, I was very stupid ... but looking at "Alexa", it is possible to at least know that the .IO domain has a ranking to be presented and compared to competitors, already in the .ORG domain, unfortunately nothing to present .., just because I would already have a notion of where to shove my coins .. but I ended up shedding it in the wrong place .. sad day. I will be sorry for some years ... but this sadness will, will pass ...

Both simpleswap.org and trustpailot.com are registered and hosted on the same Ukranian Server, one is 77 days old the other 154.

@OP sorry for your loss but how did you end up with the fake trustpailot website in the first place?
Did someone send you a link over discord?

You made a deposit on a fake website. Sorry to say, there is no way to get your funds back. Because you sent the fund without validating the url properly. This kind of scam is happening all the time. You should have been careful where I was depositing. If you were a little careful here, then you wouldn't have lost this fund.

really, i was not nothing one careful,

....

Edit: considering you're using brave with duckduckgo, both the legit and phishing site show in the higher rank of serp, but you choose the 2nd one, why is that.          _____>>(((?)))

So that's it. I'm sure the trustpilot on the .org domain was made by them as well.

>>>Huh)))  = I don't know why I chose the second one, I believed they were the same .. in fact .. I only checked this later ... including the trustp'a'ilot ....

There is no problem with having a referral link in your signature. It's not against the forum rules. What is against the forum rules is  putting your referral in posts... That being said, next time be very alert when searching for a website on the search engine and then visiting it. There are some many scam websites out there waiting for you to make a mistake.

I already deleted the link on my subscription .. I lost my day today, the rush and enemy of perfection, it makes me very sad, to the point of wanting to sell the btcs that I still have left .. I don't have more than 0.45 now .. o what happens eh i'm discouraged from messing with bitcoin .. i always liked bitcoin a lot .. but these carelessness makes me so sad that i stop believing in it .. many people using the name of bitcoin to deceive other people .. note that there was already a sum deposited at that address .. but it didn’t come out and now my 0.01 has entered, I think there should be something that we could block and recover these losses from… but I also understand that this would be a double-edged sword and it would be harmful .. because there would also be many people with false claims .. very sad that .. and nobody can do anything .. but is ok, the life that follows .. we include the dry and ball forward .. thanks for the comfort ...

Its was linked on the .org domain, which I think was made by them as well, which is more clearer from the details you posted.

Oh yeah, you are right.

A few other scams connected to IP 185.174.174.220 including iCloud and some ETH giveaway (newcryptogift) which was mentioned by DroomieChikito in this post.

I don't know, it looks like the "trustp'a' ilot" is on the air yet, only after i saw the trustp 'a' ilot, I should have been less in a hurry and paid more attention, it was the first time that I would use this service and I didn't know which was the real one; and nobody sent me a link.. i did only researshed on web..  was my first time to use this service.. and i sent a big amount to test.. was horrible .. ... but I wish I could do something to get my 0.01 back ... but I know I was an idiot ... I was in a hurry ... and maybe I deserve to lose this .. i should have paid more attention .. or tested the site with low value, or have contacted support before the loss and not after .. they do not respond .. of course there is a scam for stupid people like me ...

The other thing which you are doing wrong here is using a Referral link  of freebitco in your profile which is also not allowed.
That's not true.

There is nothing wrong with doing that. Referral links are allowed in the user's signature.

sorry, any case, i deleted my link in the signature
