Why do designers always apply their work at the last minute, I saw that practice in many contests. Is it about "hiding" the idea?

Of course! One reason is to avoid strong competition, but there are also other factors involved.

Sinbad.io has a new website design and some specific changes to the logo itself. Maybe it could be a starting point for new avatar ideas.

yes, i upload my avatars at end date so no one can copy my idea, we work very hard to come up with ideas,

in whirlwind avatar contest it took 10days to create my idea into avatar but i losed.

Because of the new design of the site, I would suggest extending the deadline for a few more days, as many may have worked on an avatar based on the previous design.

Normally, the designer reveals his work, only in the final part, to avoid giving ideas to competitors. Roll Eyes

I don't know either. I submitted it already. Don't know if it will be accepted or not let alone win. But it was my first try so I thought why not.

Bump!
We don't have many days left.

Just by chance, is it not possible to make the logo available (without background)?
I would even try something, but I think the avatar should have the logo used on the site. And it would be easier to work with the logo.

But maybe you can try anything... Can it be delivered by the end of the 31st? Maybe I won't make it in time.  Undecided

Yep, It's quite hard to extract the logo from the current avatar and from the available images that has the logo, even when I could do that, the quality is quite low, tried to upscale the image with photoshop, look better but still pixelated. This process require quite technical skill that not many people can do, possibly the reason why not many person interested in this contest.

2. Bigger Size

3. Bech-32 Address

4. Description
Nothing fancy, avatar dimension is too small to make something fancy, I only aim the avatar to be standout (at least I hope so). First ava suppose to be an old paper roll background, similar to Treasure Map. The second one is a Treasure of bitcoin with mixer on top of it. The third one is a neon style Pirate theme.

Thank you.. so guys I'd be having small issue photoshopping before the deadline so I have drawn my idea.. if anyone wants to animate it and use it in his 3 concepts for a profit share if it got chosen as the winner I welcome that.

The idea is about Sinbad having an octopus body squeezing bitcoins with his hands to have it divided into mbtc or whatever coming out of his sucker holes after being mixed
...

Please tell me you're kidding us with this suggestion of yours. You want a reward for some scribbles on paper, where someone else will do the most important part of the work for you.
I think the purpose of this contest is not to give away money for every poor attempt, but to rebrand the avatar and look for the best solution.
This is up to the designer who decides to use it. Has nothing to do with you or the contest itself. A design without idea is nothing and the opposite. So I don't see your point at all. Good luck.

Hand drawing?
When you can do that, it could be exotic art.
