"I, Sister Faustina Kowalska, by the order of God, have visited the Abysses of Hell so that I might tell souls about it and testify to its existence...the devils were full of hatred for me, but they had to obey me at the command of God, What I have written is but a pale shadow of the things I saw. But I noticed one thing: That most of the souls there are those who disbelieved that there is a hell." (Diary 741)

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank you most graciously for the coronaviruses you unleashed on us.

Nice touch.

The earthquakes, tsunamis, congenital diseases, cancers were not enough to please you, you sicko.

Next time, the crucifixion will not be enough.

You will be impaled then ripped alive into small bits and pieces and fed to the lions.

Fuck you and the cloud you sit on, LOL.
to be honest, i am not a religious guy, but i think a God exists, it doesn't make any sense to say things like that if you think otherwise, i also think  that God doesn't have control over everything, i mean if he's so perfect and he doesn't need anything, why would he create us ?! we won't bring him anything new, maybe he just likes to torture people, and get something from it that we couldn't understand.

The universe is extremely complex. God has given mankind a far more complex position in the universe than we can imaging. So, when we turned against God, even though it might have been in partial ignorance, what should God do to separate those who are His from those who deny Him?

The answer is the destruction of this universe and the making of a new one. The destruction of this universe will give God back his energy He placed into it, while eliminating the evil. The new universe won't have any way to turn evil.

It's all kinda the same to God. His power is exceedingly immense, way, way, way beyond any understanding. This universe will be forgotten along with everyone/everything in it. For us personally, the forgetting will start in all seriousness at our death. If we are among those raised from death for the new universe, there will be no need to remember any of this.

Notice how the participants in this conversation studiously avoid discussing real, live actual spirits (beer)?

Now that we have corrected your reference to beer as a spirit to it being a beverage in my other thread I can show you a list of some fine beers brewed by monks for your diligent perusal.Have a blessed day  Smiley

Quote
The United States

Spencer Trappist: From St. Joseph Abbey, Spencer, Massachusetts, it is the first Trappist beer in the US.
Benedictine Brewery: Mt. Angel Abbey, Oregon opened a new onsite brewery in the summer of 2018.
Abbey Brewing Company: Originally from Christ in the Desert Abbey in New Mexico. It was the first monastic brew sold in the US that I’m aware of since prohibition, though the monks have stepped back their role.
Country Monks Brewing: Benedictine monks brewing at Subiaco Abbey, Arkansas.
Ovila: A partnership between New Clairvaux Abbey and Sierra Nevada Brewing, with proceeds used to reconstruct a medieval chapter house from Ovila, Spain as the abbey’s new chapel.
St. Benedict Brew Works: A lay run brewery and taphouse on the grounds of the Monastery of the Immaculate Conception (Benedictine women) in Ferdinand, Indiana. They cooperate with the sisters to run beer retreats.

Germany
Weltenburg Abbey

Andechs: The Benedictines monks brew onsite at this traditional pilgrimage site.
Weltenburg: On the Danube river, the monks of Germany’s oldest monastery both brew onsite and cooperate with an outside brewer, Bischofshof. It’s the world’s second oldest brewery.
Ettal: In the mountains near Oberamergau, these Benedictines brew onsite for local distribution and partner with Licher for largescale brewing.
Scheyern: The world’s third oldest brewery, where the monks continue to brew for local distribution only.
Neuzelle: A recently revived Cistercian abbey with a previously secularized brewery on site.
Mallersdorf: Franciscan sisters brew for their own consumption and local distribution.
Marienstatter: In 2004 the Cistercian monks reopened their medieval brewery (which had closed 1908).
Kreuzberg: Franciscan friars brew for their onsite restaurant.
Reutberg: Franciscans brew on site in partnership with an outside brewer.
Ridenburger: A beer brewed as part of a cooperative with the Benedictine Abbey of Plankstetten.
Urstoff: Augustinians who contracted out their beer to Rother Brau in 1995.

Czech Republic

Brevnovský Benedict: A Benedictine Abbey in Prague, it revived its brewing in 2011 and also brews Praha 993 in South Korea!
Strahov Klášterní: Norbertines brewing in Prague.
Klášter Želiv: A Norbertine community that revived after Communism that brews onsite.

Italy

Birra Nursia: This community, The Monastery of St. Benedict, was founded in 2000 by a group of Americans in St. Benedictine’s hometown, Norcia. The monastery and ancient basilica were destroyed by an earthquake and the community relocated to the mountains outside of town. They sell their beer online which will help them rebuild.
Tre Fontane: One of the world’s newest Trappist beers, brewing with eucalyptus on the site where St. Paul was beheaded in Rome.

Holland

La Trappe: Named for the first Trappist monastery in France, the beer is brewed by the Trappist Koningshoeven Abbey, with the onsite assistance of the Swinkels Family Brewery.
Zundert: A newer Trappist beer from the Abbey of Maria Toevlucht.

Austria

Engelszell: Beer from the only Trappist abbey in Austria, Stift Engelszell.
Augustiner Bräu Kloster Mülln: Formerly an Augustinian brewery, it is now sponsored by the Benedictine Abbey of Michaelbeuern, near Salzburg, in partnership with private shareholders.
Schlägl Stiftsbrauerei: Beer brewed by the Norbertines on the monastery’s grounds.

France

Saint-Wandrille: Brewed onsite by monks of the Saint Wandrille Benedictine Abbey. It was one of the first places ever to use hops in beer in the 8th century.

Mont des Cats: A Trappist beer brewed for the Abbaye Sainte Marie du Mont des Cats at the Chimay brewery in Belgium (see below).

England

Tynt Meadow: A new beer fom the Trappist monks of Mount St. Bernard Abbey (see my review here)

Orval: From the Abbey of Notre Dame d’Orval, known for distributing only one unique beer, using wild Brettanomyces yeast.
Westvleteren: The only of the Trappist beers brewed only by the monks. The monks of Saint-Sixtus Abbey sell their beer onsite only in limited quantities, making this the most coveted beer in the world.
Achel: Although they still oversee brewing onsite, the Trappists have recently vacated the monastery due to lack of vocations and the Fazenda da Esperança movement now uses the grounds.

Mankind brought suffering into the world through disobedience, sin, and wickedness. Many new diseases today are even caused by mankind through processed food, sugar, alcahol etc. Many Covid viruses have been experimented on in labs through research and mutated by humans. The list goes on.

Yes in the bible there is tests most notably in the Book of JOB but God never abandons his people. You cannot expect him to hang around while people insult and offend him day and night with debauchery and slander any more than you would provide protection and assistance to people who do this to you either. I hope you find faith and have a blessed day. Smiley

Dear Heavenly Father,

Quote
Luke 16:23

Now the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s bosom; and the rich man also died and was buried. In Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and *saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried out and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.’

Quote
Revelation 20:13

And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and death and Hades (the realm of the dead) surrendered the dead who were in them; and they were judged and sentenced, every one according to their deeds.

Quote
Revelation 20:14

Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

Quote
“If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.” Psalm 139:8

Quote
“For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.” Psalm 16:10

Quote
“He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.” Acts 2:31

Quote
“For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Remember, according to the gospel his body was left in a tomb and not buried so here it seems to imply he then went to the heart of the earth (Hades?) for 3 days/nights before his ressurection.

Quote
Hades—better known to Catholics as the Limbo (perhaps purgatory where those who are imperfect but not damned are sent to be refined) of the Fathers—that Christ descended after Crucifixion, Church tradition says.
-But, significantly, the power of His presence was nonetheless was felt in the farthest reaches of hell, according to Aquinas.

Quote
The Final Judgment/Revelation
The sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead, and each one was judged according to his deeds. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death— the lake of fire. And if anyone was found whose name was not written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Quote
Matthew 10:28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.(Perhaps the spirit or sould is detached from the bodily human level of existence after death but nevertheless still both the righteous and the wicked continue to exist in a conscious personal way after death, but the experience of people in these two groups is significantly different. Both are unembodied but personally, consciously alive, and their experience in the intervening period is an anticipation of the different destinies that await them after resurrection and judgment.Sheol in the Old Testament and Hades in the New Testament were both references to the place of the dead, and so they were the common expectation for both the righteous and the wicked. But there are indications that this state was unpleasurable for the wicked (having more the nature of hell), whereas it might be a place of spiritual cleansing or refining  for those who are not damned and destined for the second death.

DIACLAIMER and words of caution: Reader is advised to refer to scripture themselves or someone more versed in theology or biblical matters than the OP so they are not in danger of misinterpreting or adding or taking from the book of revelation as this is only a discussion. The book of revelation must never be added to or subtracted from nor misrepresented from as is written originally.

Christ is the Lamb of God who took away the sins of the world. The perfect living sacrifice. The unblemished lamb who protects mankind during all passovers. There is no greater sacrifice ever made in history to appease God and pardon your sins.We are ALL wicked bar none.Only the infant who is innocent and unaware of any sinful thoughts or nature is capable of being spared without some form of atonement. We have ALL either sinned in our minds/hearts/verbally/physically and are ALL capable of falling into the most desolate state of corruption if provoked enough.NOBODY on this earth today is free of some guilt from their sinful actions or inactions through apathy or cowardice yet there is good to be found in even the most wicked and corrupt people and it is only through the grace of Christ the redeemer that they can find the word of the gospel and change accordingly before the righteous hand of the Father lays his wrath upon them. When you disobey the commandments and sin and turn your back on God you can no longer expect his presence or protection for you or those you have a duty of care over.God exists and his son was Crucified under the fifth governor of Judaea Pontius Pilate under the reign of Emperor Tiberius wheter you want to believe it or not.The story, handed down from historians such as Eusebius Pamphilius and Tertullian is that the Roman governor Pontius Pilate sent reports to the Emperor about the activities of Jesus Christ and His disciples. Tiberius was, of course, the emperor when Christ conducted His ministry, was crucified, died and resurrected and it was Tiberius whom Christ referred to when He said, “render unto Caesar” and so on. According to these Christian historians, when Emperor Tiberius learned about Jesus, his heart was rather moved by the accounts and he raised the issue of deifying Christ and including him among the Roman pantheon. This, however, was refused by the Roman Senate which held that it was only by their vote that someone could become a god and this worked perfectly well with the Christians who, of course, held that the divinity of Christ was not dependent on a vote by Roman politicians. That having failed, Emperor Tiberius still insisted that the Christians not be persecuted, nor even “accused” and, these historians assert, it was this decision which enabled Christianity to grow and spread in its early, formative years when it could have most easily been suppressed..This is fact for those who scoff at such things.Even the devil knows there is God and he trembles.Arrogant men made of flesh and bone have no more power over the next breath they take as they have over their next heartbeat.Their lives are over in a number of years thare are counted like nano dust particles within an infinite form of matter and you should not place your trust those who claim they can keep you alive one day more than the day that is appointed for your death.Use your days while alive and still able to speak/think/act in accordance with God's will because when you take your last breath this is all that will stand in your favour when you have to account for your days alive and living. God demands mercy NOT sacrifice.

No! Satan didn't create anything. He only perverts what has been created to deceive the gullible and immoral. The account of creation in the book of Genesis reveals this and another in John 1:3 "All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made."

About the Sister Faustina's Vision of Hell, remember the story of Lazarus and the rich man? Not even the plea of the rich man for Abraham to send back Lazarus to go and preach to his loved ones was heeded. Once a man dies, that's the end. I don't believe in the cock and bull stories of people dying and going to hell/heaven and then coming back to earth. Look at what the book of Hebrews 9:27 says, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment

let's see:

exist?

Answer: It doesn't exist!

People have a great imagination and creativity. until today we have been able to go to the moon and we have been able to find bones of ancient men, but we have not been able to find the sky, hell, angels, tower of babel, eden garden ... isn't that strange?

who guaranteed that everything written in religious books is correct and why there are so many religions and so many gods? I've seen joeva's witness, I've seen universal church, I've seen so many religions.... and if we stop to think about how science can solve the world's problems, then we can see who is telling the truth and who is distorting the truth

Was there beer?

It's hell. So obviously the only available liquid would be Miller Lite.

Dang. I'm worried now.

WRONG, DUDE!

https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/33490/110002/

God created everything except destruction. Satan created destruction, and rejected God.

So, Satan and all the people who follow him (whether they know they are following him or not), will get what they have asked for... destruction and rejection by God.

God has the power to enter Hell and talk to people. And he might even give this ability to people on Earth. But ultimately, Hell will be the absence of God and the things He created, regarding those therein.

Because of the nature of mankind, and the nature of devils (fallen angels), it will take forever to destroy them, because God has placed eternity in their hearts. There might be a way that people and devils will sense each others' presence in Hell, but ultimately they will have no desire to communicate with others as they receive the pain of continued destruction of themselves, forever.

Let this thread prompt you to get into Bible reading while you have time. Understand that God exists, and that Heaven and Hell are places He created to fit those people who believe in Him and don't believe in Him.

Cool

Nah.

A simpler explanation is that Faustina was mentally ill.

BTW, why would 'God' (aka the first person who wrote about him) create Hell in the first place?  Was he a sadist?

the idea of heaven or hell is not from origins of stories of other dimensions/life beyond life.

its the idea that if you do bad things when you young, when you become elderly and look back on your life you will not have fond memories. you will have guilt and ptsd and nightmares about your past.
in dimentia you hallucinate -relive your horrendous life.

where as if you do good in early years, when elderly your more at peace and have fond memories and dreams reliving past good deeds.

those that end up having dementia/hallucinations/altzeimers will suffer the pain of their own actions if they do bad in life.

and when dead. your body just decomposes. no new life. no new consciousness neither good or bad. but how would you want to spend your last few months before death.. in your own horror story or in your own peaceful dreams

so lets translate to modern english. without the campfire story twists:
nurse faustina by the will of her on good subconscious. went to a dementia ward and seen the horrors of those tormented by their own minds memories. she wants to tell the world what she saw
the dementia patients hated her but had to obey her goodwill gestures if they were to get fed, bathed, treated.
the patients believed they would never get old or have mental issues that would make then fear themselves later in life..

atleast now that sounds like a more realistic diary

We're drinking Hell Fire.
That's why people die. God lets them die so that they don't have to keep on drinking something so painful. ...
How would you know? You've never had Hell Fire beer, have you?

What!? You haven't heard of the second death?     Cool
