Hi Guys.

Please suggest what I can do to report the scammers and try to recollect my coins.

At godaddy they don't accept fully this kind of report.

Thanks

Send me the address that received your coins.

Hi Alterra57, do you have any news? Thanks!

Coins have been sent to an exchange. Didn't have time to figure out which but they might be gone. Just be careful next time.

Thanks! Sad

What do you mean have you tried filing an abuse report although there is no category for scam you can choose other options that is related to what they are doing to their costumer that constitutes abuse, posting here in Bitcointalk will already have an effect on their business, try to be better on your research when dealing next time.

Hi, I tried to file for phishing, but then again, though they also "phished" me, it's not a proper activity of phishing, they don't even have a site doing only that. For the other abuses, well, they don't fit in those either.

Has anything new happened? I don't want to scare you but you have a very limited time to get it back, they seem to care even a little bit about their reputation, therefore have some active users who might make a profit for them and therefore they will be interested in continuity of the platform for more time.

They are scammers but they are looking for money, if you are late, once they don't get enough money they will disappear forever, so try to collect as much information from them at the moment and try to get your money back in the next hours or else you may lose it and your data forever.

Yes, I suspect. But I don't know what else to do apart from reporting them all over the place. NO NEWS!

Please allow me to direct message you.

Keep in mind that if you wanna transact with a neutral trust member from the forum, you must use a trusted reputable escrow/midman for your safety, see: ₿ LIST ₿ Bitcointalk's ESCROW providers: Ranking & Blacklist ☠ Avoid Scam ☠

Generally, it's advisable to be very cautious in exchanging DMs with strangers as it is a closed conversation, therefore no one is there to point out in case something goes wrong.

If you're looking for a reputable P2P platforms for buying/selling bitcoin, there is

https://localcryptos.com/ (no KYC is stated in their TOS but they technically can impose it)
https://bisq.network/ (no KYC but not beginner friendly)
https://hodlhodl.com/ (may KYC)

Since this is P2P not every trader is legitimate, as always you must DYOR for everything. Exchanges usually have some advices in their support page to prevent scams, I suggest looking for that.

Unfortunately not the first time I got scammed! At least this may help someone.

Maybe there will be a third time if you're not going to do enough research, how can you trust a site that is 7 months old and has no traffic at all how and where did you find that site if you've been scammed the first time you'll see to it that the next site will be very different from the site that scammed you by checking information about the site.

People are learning the first time if they were scammed because it involves money unless you don't care about your money.
Anyway thanks for posting it here I'm sure it's a big help for other people who will be thinking if SKAECOIN.COM is a trusted exchange.

The moment any exchange comes with excuses like this

My writing the the older post was not accurate, they motivated the first two withdrawal attempts rejections so (thusly  Smiley ):
1. Too much traffic in blockchain,

It's clear they are simply lying, and this is probably one of the worst and most stupid excuse I've ever heard.
How the fuck does a tx withdraw time out in the blockchain, they either take you for a fool or they themselves have no idea how transactions work.

That aside, although I'm sorry for your loss I find it interesting how somebody who is using protonmail and who obviously cares about privacy and stuff would rush to a 6 month old exchange and deposit $3000  with them.

Lol, didn't this thing trigger something like 100 red flags?

So they are a Osakeyhtiö , or a Finish limited company?  Cheesy or just stupid copy pasters?

Unfortunately not the first time I got scammed! At least this may help someone.

I sent them an email. I'll see if there's anything I can do.

Thanks!
I would like to talk with you about selling BTC.

I sent an email through their website, hopefully there will be an answer. Meanwhile, I think you should file a complaint with GoDaddy because that's where they're hosting their site. GoDaddy email: [email protected]

Send them all the proof you have. Website created in November and I can only find listings from people in India. They probably started it as a legal business but need money and are making poor judgements.

If you want to deal with me send me your Telegram or Discord.

Thank you for your reaction. And thanks for the thanks... I get at least this. And for your great attention in reading:)

I did remove it when they wrote they would have reactivated my account (and given my money?) ONLY AFTER I' d have erased the post on here and the review on trustpilot.

So they, among other things, blackmailed me, as written in the OP.

My writing the the older post was not accurate, they motivated the first two withdrawal attempts rejections so (thusly  Smiley ):
1. Too much traffic in blockchain,
2. You didn't verify your real name.

At the third attempt I simply got NO INFORMATION, and was contacted only AFTER writing the bad reviews AND being cut out of the account entirely.

For full disclosure, but to NO EXCUSE OF THEIR BEHAVIOR, I did try to withdraw without trading.

These people.... they could make so much more money and in a better way for all if they just acted legitimately...

Thank you for warning us MGTOX about this scam exchange, but may I ask why did you remove your other topic. You could have kept it and posted updates there regularly, or was it removed by a mod!

Also, I want to ask you about this: in the other topic you said that the second attempt to withdraw was canceled because you didn't make any trade on the platform but you didn't mention this in this topic:
this time with the absurd explanation that I could not transfer out if I didn't do a trade before,
I hope you didn't remove this part intentionally! Because we know that any online service will lock your account and ask you to verify your identity if you make a deposit and try to withdraw without using their services. This is always considered as a suspicious activity.

Anyway, this is not an excuse and doesn't mean they are legit since they are still holding your funds although you verified your account and sent them the documents they requested.
