When is the Skycoin OTC market launching, and what will determine the OTC price?
Will it be the price at Cryptopia? C2CX? daily moving average price?
Is it still possible to buy via Bitmessage...?

I think that we need get some results than mean working sky miner (I want get some ) then we can argue for getting on more exchanges.
When devs will deliver something working it wil be nice to see some action.
With such release then need some media coverage to.

This will be a big step for all Skycoin community. We are waiting for more active promotion for this project. Good times come again for altcoins and its a really good chance to  bring Skycoin to a new popularity level.

Skycoin is also listed on C2CX.

See the markets page:
https://www.skycoin.net/markets/

Of course Skycoin needs to be listed on a more high-profile exchange, we are working on it.

I've heard someone was telling Liqui is a good exchange in you Telegram group, but I read not so long ago that they have cash-out problems (just like Cryptopia) and their support doesn't answer, so if you're considering to get listed there, better to find something more reliable (in terms of centralized exchanges Grin)

Liqui is not good indeed. Their withdrawal fees are outrageous and you can't even see how high these fees are until after you've bought your coins.
If the balance of some token is 0, you're unable to click on 'withdraw'. I send them a support ticket asking about this, but they never responded, so
I get the feeling this setup is completely deliberate.

(Also, I got 500 TRX airdropped into Liqui just for having an account there,
and when I looked to withdraw it they asked a 1000 TRX fee, and I just thought 'Are you guys fucking serious?!')

I am very excited about the plans for production of Skycoin hardware wallets. I envision a future where everyone can have their own affordable wallet, and mass adoption of Skycoin is possible. This project has flown under the radar for far too long. Now that the first elements of marketing push are being made, I see a very bright future for the project  Smiley

I just saw the Skycoin pitch given at
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=K-63rxeqVtg

Honestly - it's CRAP.
I mean... Come on....

Viewers were told:
1. "Skycoin was designed to be better than bitcoin."
2. We have dedicated hardware, made in China.

If this is our marketing staff, then we should call Houston.
Why wasn't "no fees" mentioned?
Why wasn't the meshnet mentioned? Only a VPN application where operator can earn some coins...? That's our highlight?
Why wasn't new consensus protocol explained, where 51% attack is not an issue.
Why wasn't CX mentioned, or that skycoin has its programming language, and side-chains that can function like ERC-20 tokens?
Why wasn't decentralized exchange and stomic-swaps mentioned?

Who is this guy pitching? Really, who is spearheading marketing?

This was from July. Yes its very bad, hopefully it will be buried from search results.  The presenter left our marketing staff in August.

We are working on a better presentation that will be made into a video for our youtube channel

need more marketing man..

I totally agree.
Their dev team are very active though, so that's absolute!

Radix-The Decentralized Finance Protocol

Wow, this is an old crypto from 2013. Strange, that I never heard about it. I see its not very popular price wise also. What's the main use of this crypto?
Most of the existing coins don't have much USE at the moment.
I don't know much about tech, but skycoin do have some features which is unique.

That wireless network feature that hopefully skycoin will be able to do is the most interesting feature.

I like their CXO, which allows building any decentralized applications like BBS (a decentralized social network). Think of WikiLeaks on top of Skycoin. This is a new paradigm which will bring us a new level of freedom of speech. Though I still have a question: can messages you send to such networks be decrypted by DPI hardware?

Where to get some skycoins?
There is the only exchange to buy skycoin for the time being:
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=SKY_BTC

Well I not a fan of too many exchanges for a project but in this case only one exchange is not a good thing because as I see cryptopia's wallet is always in maintenance or they have issues with the wallet. I suggest to try to get on at least 1 more exchange. Bittrex will be awesome but there are many good exchanges out there. Cheers!
