Can someone give me some straight answers? I've been following skycoin for years but can't for the love of god figure out what is going on with distributions. I know there are ICO's but where are the details of them? How do I get involved? What is the price peg? Is there anypoint buying on an exchange after a pump since the ICO suppresses the price?

In my mind, Skycoin will probably be in the top five coins for the plenty advantages it have on the others. I've invested the third of my btc some days ago and now it's x3. it is just the begining !

My approach to Skycoin is it is much more of an investment in the future than an investment to receive a return on, supporting a project I really want to succeed. It might or might not produce the kind of returns frequently seen in crypto, but that is not the primary motivation in this case.

The distribution model is non typical because the protocol itself is non typical.

The discussion led to making sure that Skycoin can be developed for at least 100 years approx so we are trying to make development as sustainable and rigid as possible. The aim is to make sure it will be developed for generations.

More users need to come in on a growth rate - meaning that Skycoin awareness builds and users can get access to the distribution at later times in it's cycle. Making distribution more fair.

Coins will be distributed from dedicated hardware/resource allocations to secure the network - decentralization is the utmost priority also the inherent security of the network through distributed computing.

There is no POS/POW on Skycoin so it means different models are needed to give the best method of distribution possible.

All these things will lead to extensive development cycles - great technology and fair distribution.
