I'm not computer savvy like some.DDoS stands for distributed denial of service. In this kind of attack many machines are contacting your server till it stops responding.
But what would be the point of that? If they attack and stop your servers from responding? Just to fuck u up or can they steal something easier this way?
They made our server irresponsive and they asked for 1.5 BTC to "fix" it
