on telegram. It would be nice to see more people there also
I guess I prefer it here, discussions are open and accessible via index engine results.

@Slimcoin community - I think about updating our website and with github release link instead of mega, will be more trustworthy and better looking overall.

@ksdme is still in the making of web wallet, I think.

Other things - Johnny A. have said that he can help us with marketing and adoption, on telegram. It would be nice to see more people there also, because I think we are discussing important matters (when we have time ofc).

First Proof of Burn currency / Community account
@eddycurrent, @muf18: I added the aarch64 link to the OP. Thanks for your work!

(I had to correct another "collateral damage" of the walk of this account into Newbie territory: The Bitcointalk software had removed the link to the Windows 0.5.1 wallet as a "suspicious link" (strange, as it's on github.io) . It's fixed now.)

Nova has refreshed their look.

Btw. if anyone want to combine anything, which would make Slimcoin AIO give more features - just please ask.
I have added to Datacoin AIO - DTC browser. Convient and easy install, so nobody will have a problem with it.

Anyone have any news on the status of SLM integration with NovaExchange?
I have been given to understand that the exchange is taking a different approach that circumvents the issue that was preventing the integration - so there is reason for cautious hope.

Cheers

Graham

Ah, thanks for the update, I'll keep waiting then.

Sure eddy.

If you want you can send it to me I will post it to my github account, I have with all important stuff for Slimcoin: https://github.com/muf18?tab=repositories

Sorry, forgot to mention that it is on the same google drive as before, so it is probably as easy to grab it from there.

If you want I can send it directly to you on Monday.

Regards

Hello muf18

Yes, that is the correct one.

I hope to have a GUI wallet for that architecture soon too, but there seems to be a small bug.

Regards

Ok, I have uploaded it here: https://github.com/muf18/Slimcoin-aarch64/releases/tag/v0.5

If you see something is wrong with description please pm me.

Would it be possible to have a compile 0.5.2 version for windows to test ?
Or do i need to compile it myself ?
No need in practice but in principle you should because binaries on remote hosts could be compromised either at source or during transmission. There are two Windows compilation routes - cross-compilation using native Linux host/VM (https://github.com/slimcoin-project/Slimcoin/blob/master/xcomp.sh) and cross-compilation using Ubuntu for Windows (https://github.com/slimcoin-project/Slimcoin/blob/master/doc/build-unix.txt). I'll give the native Linux cross-compilation a spin and, if successful, will post the resulting Windows binary on my server, along with a signature hash. I'll also publish an OS X binary.

I'll add some copynpastable destructions to the docs

Cheers

Unfortunately, the Slimcoin Community account has got Newbie status again due to the changed rank rules which require Junior Members to get a single Merit point, and thus currently dzarmush's header image is not showing.

Have a merit on me, certainly well deserved for all the work done for SLM (this goes certainly as well toward all others like gjhiggins, muf18 and many more who contributed).

First Proof of Burn currency / Community account
I have updated the OP again.

Basically, the updates are:
- information about the testing of 0.5.2 (with coin control & PoS optimization)
- Coinsmarkets was removed completely as it seems to be gone
- information about an upcoming second Web2Web node I plan to start soon, which will include a torrent client that is always online and can share selected Web2Web documents.

@muf18, once you published eddycurrent's new ARM version, I'll post it on the OP, too.

(Once the new node is up I plan to publish a Web2Web tutorial from this account, which may be Merit-worthy. Wink )

You'll need to pry it from my cold, dead, hands.
I interpret you won't change again to the old client? (I didn't know the "dead, cold hands" sentence, had to google it, and it seems it means that). So basically, we could roll out a release if everything's ok, right?

I've synced now. Didn't have any stability problems, and the resource consumption seems very good, but I didn't find (PoS) blocks so far, but on this wallet there are only ~20K Slimcoins on about 5 UTXOs. Maybe too few to really test staking. I'm also not running it 24/7. Will now upgrade my cloud wallet (the one powering the Fuseki instance for the, this one is meant to run 24/7 but has a very small balance) and report progress. I had some crashes lately with that client, maybe with the new version they're things of the past.

Edit: I just commited a very small fix, restoring compatibility of inscriptiontablemodel.cpp with older Qt versions (the setSecsSinceEpoch problem). Only after that it compiled on Debian Stretch. (If this was wrong revert ...)
