Does Beatcoin plan to add an English interface? For now, I only see a Polish one ... that unfortunately would limit the target public a bit.

+1

I like so much the interface but can't understand almost anything. Are they planning add English language at least?

I can contribute with 3000 SLM, but I think it's very important don't move them from Nova... we would like have more than one Exchange but not loose Nova.

Cheers.

I see some new sell orders at around 420. Just a quick reminder. If you'd like to sell large amount of coins you can do it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2063259.new#new

I could add also some thousands of SLM to their exchange (about 3000-5000) and maybe more if I get more PoB rewards Wink But what I fear is if too many Slimcoiners transfer all SLM from Novaexchange to Beatcoin, Nova perhaps will delist SLM (well, I don't know actually if somebody paid for the listing at Nova, so maybe my fear is unfounded), and then we would have no English-interfaced exchange anymore.

We can just send them some SLM, and they will animate market, but it's also some cost (I know).
I could like provide some fiat, and SLM, cause at the moment I don't have BTC (and I'm so angry about it...).

If they remove trading fee from account we have access to, we'll animate market alright )

IF we want to get listed on that exchange, we must provide liquidity, to them for animation of the exchange, or make them warranty, that it won't be empty, that we will provide there SLMs, to trade.

Btw. - some SLMs to sell from nova dissapeared, demand also some dissapear.

I think that several thounsands of SLM should do fine.
I thought about 50-100K of SLM for exchange. I can provide 5K for liquidity, and will ask how much they want.

BTW. - we have 30 observers on twitter, without any campaign, for now. I think it's quite good success, and I've seen a steady upward going up number of observers for 2 weeks now.
It's most successful, social media for now - fb, reddit, and telegram aren't used at all. But twitter is gaining, observers day by day.

Providing liquidity for the sake of liquidity is costy, I don't think we have someone with too much money around here.

I can set some sell orders and some buy orders but it won't provide liquidity itself.

How much Slimcoin's can you provide for https://beatcoin.pl exchange?

how much do they need? and what for?

Are you looking to get liquidity on the exchange or what is the goal you are trying to pursue?

How much hashes/s are you getting from your CPUs? I've been trying to mine a few days on my OC'd 7700k in 0.3 windows version without any success, getting about 5k hash/s on 7 cores.

What miner you use? Wallet or JonnyLatte miner?

I'm using wallet, slimcoin v 0.3 windwos. Never heard of jonnylatte

Those are some very low numbers.
I have an older mining rig which has celeron as a cpu, and on one core I'm getting 7 khash/s. (It awards me lately 2..3 block / a day)
If I remember good, my notebook with 5700HQ CPU on 3 threads gives me about 30 khash/s.

I bought some but not sure whether to just hold or do something else with these coins. im trying to hold long term, but unsure of hold long proof of burn lasts to get my coins back.

Burnt coins decay over time, but you have "burn power" with every burnt coin for more than 2 years.

any ideas? do i need to keep the wallet installed on my pc to make burn work, or is it attached to the address i can import anywhere? Link to QA would be helpful.

Burn minting is similar to PoS minting. To find blocks, you must run your wallet on your computer.

A guide is here: http://slimco.in/proof-of-burn-guide/

And here you have an explanation of the process: http://slimco.in/proof-of-burn-eli5/

What is the effective annual interest rate on burned coins?

There is a burn rewards calculator at http://slimcoin.club that can give you a rough estimation. However, there is no fixed "interest rate". The ROI depends on the number of coins burnt by all users together and the number of those that are effectively minting (if there are more, you have less chances to find blocks, and vice versa). If you mint 24/7 and burn a considerable amount of coins (>1000) then you should get back your investment in less than 6 months (last time I minted it needed about 2-3 months, but now are more people minting), and from there on it's all profit.

This post of yours shows where and when I got it for the 1st computer.

Thanks for reporting this as an issue.

Any other OS X Slimcoin users experiencing the same problem with the OS X 0.5 binary?

Cheers

Graham

(Expecting delivery of an XPS 9560 any day now which should make it a little easier for me to check that Windows/OS X binaries are properly functioning.)

In the SLIMcoin folder of Applications support is where I have been looking.  A "config" file doesn't exist in that folder until I create one.  I've installed 2 Mac wallets on 2 machines, and in both cases have had to create this file myself.

That's unexpected. What version is the client reporting and from where did you download the OS X binar[y|ies]?

Cheers

Graham

This post of yours shows where and when I got it for the 1st computer. I got from "slimcoinclub" website a link to the OS X version installed on the 2nd computer in July.   Anyway, both computers' wallets lack the config file.

After I've posted this, I'll fire up the Sierra VM, update the OS X app, similarly update the release binary and advertise it here.

The OS X GUI client in the 0.5 release section has now been updated.
