In investment you have to do your own proper research about a particular project you wish to invest in before investing. YouTubers or Social media motivational speaker should be a reason of take decision outside your plan. Remember in the case of losses or gain you're the person to be affected so be wise taking wise decision.

So with this in mind it is a bad idea to listen to them when they do not have our best interests at heart at all, also it would not surprise me if in the future the authorities begin to investigate those youtubers, as what many of them is doing can be considered illegal or at best irresponsible since the majority do not have any credentials which allows them to give such advice.

YouTubers are not helpful at all as they can lead us into huge losses. So congrats as you stick to your own decision and believe that bitcoin will always be profitable in the long run. As long as you’re not into get rich quick mindset, you will always prosper as holding promising coins like bitcoin, ethereum and solana will paid off when the market starts to become stable. I followed two times a youtuber and every time i lost fund even someone suggested to invest on luna when it was fall 10$ and got support on 10$ lol!! And i made a big mistake from this signal they are just actual fool and give signal on their investment even it is on bad condition!!
I honestly think that these so called youtubers rarely did a real analyzation, they just thought that this altcoin gets corrected so hard it must go back to its former valuation again, but it's different case with luna they are getting corrected so hard because they are having hard time containing the massive short squeeze in their UST and they even ran out their reserve fund.

I don't even watch crypto related youtube videos. By the way, BTC, Eth and Sol also dumps. The smartest decision would have been you converting them to stable coins like USDC, USDT or BUSD

Many had failed and blame themselves, and even regretting because of the wrong decision been made. Yeah, this is very common for those people who come in a hurry. It was found to be more relevant to anticipate the market decline than to be a greedy holder looking for more profit. If those are just non established altcoins, then its always better to convert them into bitcoin and ethereum. However, that won't still guarantee profits especially that we are seeing the crypto market today almost collapsing. Bitcoin and ethereum are very low priced this time, but it won't mean that they are good to sell to stop the losses. It would have been better too if you convert some of your altcoins too into stable coins. That way, you will never struggle this time. Your idea of converting volatile cryptos is fine but I would choose a better stable coins not usdt because many says that it is risky. I would got for busd, usdc and dai, as I never heard any negative feedback from them.
Its the dumbest decision OP, you should be holding USDT or USDC instead of buying solana, BTC and ETH because its so clear that we are heading into a bear market since last month, see how lower BTC goes? You could be DCA ing right now and get better staoshis per coin.

I never listen to youtubers. I cashed out most of my assets at the end of the bullrun. I have converted some assets into USDT. Because when the market is up, it is up slowly. But when it is down, it is down very fast. So if you are not careful beforehand, there may be nothing to do when market go down.

Well, people who likes to follow Youtubers/influencers are unfortunate. Some might've profited from following them but mostly will lose eventually, coz most of these Youtubers are paid to shill shitcoins. Hyping them up to fool their followers.
Shilling will have a double benefit for them.
1. They are paid to shill.
2. They will ride the hype and will make a profit before the dump.

That's also the worst decision. Bitcoin and ethereum already dumped so hard and the best choice will always be converting your tken to the stable token as well. So, i meant if the stable token will always become the best choice for you to secure your asset.

Don't you think that's right? if youtubers prioritize personal gain and only add views and sometimes it doesn't match expectations. although not all of them are like that but trust me not to trust any channel that advises you to invest in this coin and blah blah blah.. i agree more if you invest only in real coins : BTC is the right investment for long term.
