You should watch his trust before you give him the loan.
As I can see they are many negative trust that being sent by DT member

Hope you can learn this experience !

Well i think it was a private loan and the things weren't discussed on forum so yeah i think that was pretty obvious to happen if you go out and blindly trust out anyone. However he trusted him on a gambling site so it makes sure that he was unaware of the bitcointalk account and his trust ratings. Moreover that bitcointalk account might be bought by someone else or owned by someone other than the guy with whom OP dealt.

This must be a lesson for OP to not trust anyone and always ask for collateral  and never deal a loans privately.

Hey,
Time ago i loaned snailmen and he kept making excuses that he will pay but never did and then he pulled out 5btc from somewhere and lost it on bustabit instead and + he owes Legend- 0.3+ on bustabit and JaymesC 1btc he has never payed the 3 of us and always making excuses that he will pay and as of me he is really late but now i know that he is just a scammer that misuses people and never pays.
When you ask him about it he speaks very rudely!
Do not trust him
He just chats a load of shit tbh.
If he was trusted he would have payed me when he had 5btc but he never payed me and lost them stupid faggot.

You can loan me 200K? JaymesC has loaned me up to 1 BTC Cheesy

[22/02/2016 00:58:53] Sergio Agüero: I;'ll get to 240k

I will never give 0.2btc loan.Giving loan is wasting money beause many users are scammers and beggers.
I agree , btc is full of scammers tbh you cant trust anyone..
Not all users are scammers, you should be carefully when lending money to someone. There is a sticky topic in lending board for unofficial rules, read that and never give any loan without collateral.
The thing is even if you take collateral what is the point i am not going to fly abroad for 0.2 am i?.....
Such a big amount of bitcoins for me .why you take the risk even without collateral. its still the best if you are asking for collateral so that if he is defaulted you have a power to sell his account to others and make a profit..
I hope you now learn and think before you deal to someone..

It is really hard to owe a gambler. Next time, you should ask a person where to spend the loaned money. Well, I pity on him that he lost all the money in gambling and remain a debt from people. He will not trusted anymore.

Just watching this unfold on bustabit chat.. very entertaining for a Sunday night..

Sucks he ain't paying you back but you should of taken something as collateral for the "loan"

We live and learn though. No point crying over spilled milk as they say.

Why did you fund the loan in the first place? He is a gambler, you can tell.

What was so tempting about his deal, that you had to take it?
Well at first i though he was a trusted guy as i heard alot of vouches thats why but at the end i found he owes a bunch of people rofl and he made excuses for over 1 month so it is obviously a scam and speaks very harshly when you ask him about it like i owe him he should respect the fact i loaned him but no.... .

blindly trust a gambler just because they bet a lot and that's what you'll get.

I guess you didn't even check his bitcointalk account?
