For the past centuries, gold have become valuable and a good investment for some. But then bitcoins came and make the history's greatest investment. Gold has it on use as a metal while bitcoin offers the freedom you cannot get from your centralized fiat. Both has its ups and downs but for me, I gotta focused more to bitcoins since it the popular and in demand right now.
Gold has a value because of how limited it is and thats why its worth what it is and thats the exact reason why bitcoin is better due to it being more limited.

Depends if you are saying it as a currency than I would say that bitcoin is better but considering it as an asset I would still go with gold. I know people have listed many advantages of btc over gold. But gold is an established asset since the beginning of mankind. Its more of settled also while bitcoin is still tender and volatile. No, Bitcoin is not better than gold. You can't compare gold to bitcoin because the value of the gold is stable or somehow it is not fall back easily unlike bitcoin the value of it is not stable. The value of it is based on somewhat that effect to it.
gold has long been used as an investment jewelery tool especially investment tool gold prices are not too wavy so it is safe but bitcoin has a very wavy and speculative structure and can make an anda dip

simply put some of your money to bitcoin and wait for it to bring you some wealthiness I think bitcoin is not better than Gold although at the moment the price of bit coin is higher than Gold. Gold is one of the most versatile metals. Maybe someday we can stop using gold for technology. But that day isn't now or even in these few decades. Even this century. I say century because quantum computers are coming and those need gold. Humanity will be using quantum computer for centuries before we can something find better, if at all.
Gold is the oldest metal which is very well known across the world being a resource and a potential currency but here comparison of gold with bitcoin is based on values not based on use and if we compare the value of both so we can easily find out that bitcoin is so much valuable than gold as well as people are also earning more than enough through bitcoin. When bitcoin survive in the world upto half of the time of gold, so, that time I think people will not ask gold being a valuable resource as compare to bitcoin.
It is hard to say bitcoin or gold better. With the investment in bitcoin will have the opportunity to earn more profits but also potential risks to gold prices are stable so people will be more comfortable when resin.

Of course there is nothing we can argue about this Bitcoin has already compete with gold and other mode of payments such as Paypal and even the faint currency. Bras we can see that nothing can stop Bitcoin now it just have one problem that it can not sufficiently beat the real cash yes because it needs a bit of transaction fees and lot of confirmation time. Well as long as the cash is instant and safe people are going to use cash instead of Bitcoin. let's see if Bitcoin can win over the cash in the long run, I hope it does.

Even though bitcoin has escalated over gold in terms of price but still I don’t think that bitcoin is better than gold because firstly, gold is way more popular than bitcoin among teenagers and other age groups than bitcoin. Then gold has way more users than bitcoin. Then gold is more stable than bitcoin its value does not fluctuate whereas bitcoin’s value fluctuate a lot. Then gold is regulated by government whereas bitcoin is not regulated by any government. So because of these reasons bitcoin is not better than gold.
