Can i tell you something? There is only one thing that always goes up and never comes down. It is age. Don't get over-excited by the recent Bitcoin price spike. There is going to be a major correction somewhere down the line.

Gold is super time-tested, more than any currencies. But it doesn’t make it a better investment than Bitcoin. I think we all know that. With Bitcoin you can get real money and at the moment there are plenty of ways to grow your capital using Bitcoin as a financial tool.

Sorry .I won't agree your point.Many bitcoin holders from 2014 are billionaire and millionaire today.This happen only because of bitcoin. Now the price of bitcoin is around 4200$ .I had expected this price at this month end.But this price achieved in two days. Just think how much power is bitcoin. . But we don't know what will happen in 2018 or 2019 so i prefer to short trading, buy when prices is low and then sell at high price might with 10-30% profit. If i want something to be kept longer as an investment, gold is better (in my opinion) Wink

Who told you cannot sell or buy a piece of gold and that you have to sell all? Just like Bitcoin gold is sub divided into various weight categories like ounce, grams kilograms etc. and a measure of any desired weight can be sold or bought just like you can buy or sell any fraction of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin more volatile, and certainly traders want it to happen so they can benefit from gap in range. Bitcoin trading is more fun to achieve big profits, especially with bitcoin conditions for several days which experienced a sharp increase. Bitcoin more profitable than gold.

Some people consider high volatility a bad thing, but I agree with you, there's nothing bad with that as long as you don't panic when the pirce is dropping and just wait until it starts rising again. Another option is buying when the drop was around 10% in one day, because the probability of dropping lower is very low for bitcoin these days. Many people are waiting for the low price to buy and after a big drop they satrt buying and the price is beginning to rise.

I highly agree. Profit-wise, I will go for bitcoin. The price volatility though is a double-edged sword. It can go both ways. But if we look at the path bitcoin is treading on, there is no risk that it will go down spiraling. There is only upward. If there is a higher risk at hand, then selling is always an easy option.
