I have two 1070's and two 1050ti's and everytime I look them up on whattomine it shows ZCASH as being more profitable than ETH. Hell, even Zclassic shows it as more profitable than ETH.

There are a lot of more profitable coins than ETH (mining with AMD)

Well at least for me WhatToMine shows ETH as the most profitable for my RX480.
Are we talking about coins which aren't listed at WhatToMine (yet) and could you mention an example?

Nestade

If you want to make a bit more money from mining, forget whattomine Wink. Cannot give away any coins, sorry Tongue, but use coinmarketcap and filter out non-minable.

4chan/biz can also be a nice place to stumble upon a nice coin Grin Grin Grin

I do see your point, sir.  I guess Eth could have plummeted and I would have been at a deep loss.  Hindsight is 20/20 they say.  Just curious as to why you label me with a troll?

Sorry if I offended you, it was never my intention, when I say trolls, I say people in general.

And about what you said, yes, eth could have gone back to $1 from $50. I have seen that few times, right now is almost impossible for that to happen cause it grew so much but it could crash or grow in price hard, we never know. An example of a coin which reached $50 and then crashed to $0.70 is ltc in 2013-2014.

Thanks, Digital !  Never thought of that.  I going to send you a PM with a question if that's ok.

But yes I bought an Eth Miner for $800 brand new in 2016 that was plug and play and had 6 graphic cards.  I was make 1 eth a day almost.  I sold all my eth at 50 dollars each.  And the miner seven months later.  What a mistake!

It's funny when you trolls say it was a mistake cause you sold it low. Selling or buying at current price is never a mistake, learn that first then you are ready to play big.

If I thought like you I would have committed suicide millions of times cause I sold many things low to what that coin cost right now, btc for example, sold thousands for $5.

Before this happened I told it would happen and trolls laughed at me, now they are seeing the reality and are wondering whether to commit suicide or not hehe, yeah the only satisfaction we will ever get from those who paid $600 or more for a rx series 256 bits. Where I live noobs are still buying rx 580 for $1000, so that makes you wonder how dumb/mindless they are.
Dude you're rambling, seriously get a fucking life.
Many people here have mined for longer than you've been a member of these forums and have ROI'd many times over.

Now go away.

I understand why you are so furious, don't worry about it, I will not hold anything against you.

Whattomine is extremely slow, they only add a coin when it gets popular, people who profit big never see whattomine.

Up over 4% within 24h.

Used to mine ETH as foundation to cover the electric bill and then switch to speculative coins. Seems like I have to mine speculative either way what makes me uncomfortable.

What coins can keep a certain level of profitability in medium term w/o large swings?

They are all shit coins. When I want to mine a shit coin for quick cash out I pick a whore coin that's been fucked and it's not worth keeping.like xvg

You can sell xvg and not look back it will never be like a high priced coin

I am curious.   Not much of a tech miner, but I bought an eth rig years back and sold it along with the eth I made.  Serious mistake!  I could have been 30k richer.   Anyways, what are the most profitable alt coins to mine with a rig that uses 3 high end graphics cards?

Just rent the hash power and get as much coins as you can when a coin first comes out. Everyone else is doing it why spend money on a rig when renting hash power can give you masternode status?

do your own research

Then this forum is pointless and shouldn't waste precious webspace.

ahh well if that's what you think you are welcome to leave, but don't come on here like some self entitled retard expecting someone to tell you what to mine when you didn't even bother to do fucking research like a lazy ass, its all too common for noobs like you coming on here asking the very thing you are asking day in and day out, its annoying as shit. LEARN HOW TO USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION

I don't disagree, but we could also point where to go...

Good Resources are

https://www.nicehash.com/profitability-calculator
https://whattomine.com/coins

I also found the benchmark for nemo or megaminer was very cool.

good luck.

I mine ETH on my gtx 1060 rigs, too lazy to research and switch, I believe ETH is the most profitable coin for gtx 1060 and 1070.

I only mine ETH with AMD cards. I'm mining Luxcoin with a 1080 TI, 1080 and 1070. Seems like a coin with a good Dev team and roadmap. With a 1070, you should get ~$2.40/day mining LUX vs ~$1.80/day mining ETH.
