Sorry to tell you that you lost it already dude. Damn that guy is so lucky to get that huge amount of ETH from you. If I made that mistake as well, I think I'm gonna die as well. LOL. If the wallet hasn't been used already then maybe you have a chance to recover it back. But if someone has already been using it, its his gain. Its only showing 1 transaction only so likely it has never been used from the looks of it. But I don't know how can you get it back though.

You can't generate the same address, as you need to know the private key... It would be too easy to hack every wallet if you could choose the address...

I lost 1 Bitcoin Cash by sending it to a Bitcoin address. I thought it was my Bitcoin Cash address, but it was different of the Bitcoin address but was a valid address, as Bitcoin Cash is a copy of Bitcoin. It was just after Bitcoin Cash appeared on the Exchange. So yes, everyone can do a mistake. It is better to copy and paste the address if you can. But sometimes we can't copy and paste if the wallet is not on the same computer. So, you need to triple check(or more times) what you type before sending it. And verify that this address is a valid one. If you are tired, you can make a mistake. So it is better to not be tired before doing this kind of operation.

I would only feel comfortable manually typing private keys (e.g. to import paper wallets), because if you screw up, there is no loss. You should always copy and paste addresses. I would have thought Ethereum addresses included a checksum, like Bitcoin, to prevent this sort of thing.

It's very unlikely to happen with Bitcoin. That's why Satoshi designed Bitcoin addresses to include a checksum for testing validity. So if you accidentally delete the last couple digits, for instance, your wallet won't send.

In this cryptocurrency world. One mistake could give you fatal result. I'm pretty sure that you're not checking your address before clicking the send button more than twice right? even I always checking it until more than ten times.
and also, if your phone capable of scanning qrcode, use it, any blockchain explorer always provide the image of the qrcode.

You can't do anything and that will be so difficult to find teh address owners, Just forget your loss and try to recover its with the new amount. Because we are in the crypto and if you are loosing something and that gives a possibility to lose anything.

OMG that was a huge money sent to valid etherium address this is very frustrating men its almost $4,400 as of this time I dont understand why you have to manually type the eth address you must have copy paste it and unfortunately there is 0% chance that you can recovered it seems there is no other any transactions from the wallet other than you sent.

I'm sorry for your loss, next time if you're sending big amounts of money to any address please just send a little bit first and make sure they arrive right. It can waste a bit of gas but will always protect you.

The thing here with cryptocurrency sending is that once it is already done, you cannot take it back. Unlike when doing transactions with your bank account, there are still mechanisms that will give you the chance to have your money back. In crypto, once the address is valid and it is wrong with just a single character, that means that is already good. So next time, you should try to triple check your address.

I've read about a couple of situations where a person vastly overpaid miner/transaction fees (i.e., reversed the miner fee and the transaction amount, or something similar) and the miner gave the funds back. But that is of course a different situation. There, the payment went to a wallet that was known to be under someone's control ... here, it looks like the payment went to a "dead" wallet.
