What you were doing is effectively advertising via the pictures of girls here in the ALT section.
So i am sure the problem mprep had was that it was low quality posting / advertising of sorts.
Had the pictures of girls been fully clothed i highly doubt the outcome would have been any different.

What bugs them here is low quality posting and advertising.

And this is suppose to be about discussing altcoins.. not advertising them.

That actually makes a lot more sense. Thank you! I've been trying to figure that out for a long time.
Is there an appropriate area on BCT for 'advertising'?

At any rate... Yeah, Sexcoin is serious about growth, serious about contributing to the crypto economy in general, and serious about offering a coin that has unique qualities.

In researching all the different ways we could accomplish age verification, I'm finding many different ways to be able to fold in ANONYMOUS age verification. In my dream-land, this can actually carry over to all transactions needing strong age confirmation... wine, ammo, hell even lighters. The cool thing is that by these schema's, you don't have to reveal who you are. Sho-card is one service that is high on our list because its already using block-chain. They are not the only one though.

I never heard about or had interest on this coin until i see this thread i. even after some research based on your comment i dint find any huge potentiality for this coin.Do you have any future prediction which is reliable?

Reliable future predictions? I wonder who in the world could provide that int he coin universe... or any universe for that matter.

The coin seems to be chugging along. The dev team is in direct contact all the time. The coin has a great name and it has history.

I really think they need a breakthrough (or at least a place) to start using the coin to drive some demand.

I'm currently invested in BTC and other large cap coins. But I am seriously looking to invest (nothing big) on al alt coin with potential. Just a scan over coin mark cap website and well there's a lot of coins but one jumps out both on name, supply, and "history".

Sexcoin apparently has been around for a while. But it has not accomplished much apparently. I read through most of there main blog here in the forum and I see potential.

Any thoughts from anyone on the team or users?

Never heard of that coin. I think you'd better be careful for some coins that are not famous.

Staff moved the one here in ALT main to the trash not because it posted nude pictures but because they felt it was poor quality advertising of sorts.

The topic revolved around posting a picture of a girl nude etc on a regular basis.
I had no problem with it Smiley
But staff must have figured it was low quality posting.

Since you put NSFW in the topic title it was fine.
You ARE allowed to post nudity.. so i am saying it was NOT deleted simply because there was some naked pics.

See what i mean ?

That wasn't what the mod told us. That whole stupid explanation of at the start of the thread is what I had to do to remain 'compliant'. And it was a lengthy chain of communications with the moderators. Maybe I still misunderstand what was at issue.

mprep did it and he always leaves a message when he trashes your topic.
posting nude pictures is allowed with the NSFW tag.. simple as that.

but..

I can't recall the exact wording he used on that big topic he deleted but i did look at the delete message left when it got moved to trash and it said nothing at all about nudity.

I posted here to help you though.
What bugs them here is low quality posting and advertising.

In fairness to staff there was a lot of pictures posted of nude girls (often the same ones)
With writing on their bodies advertising Sex Coin or they were holding up a sign..
And this is suppose to be about discussing altcoins.. not advertising them.

It was not about nudity i am fairly sure.
They had no choice because the topic violated a bunch of other rules.
Staff may have even liked the pictures too LOL
I did and even posted one or two Wink

1. Age verification is a self-reported verification

2. BTW, I'd love to talk to you about a cam project we've been brainstorming, any interest?

1. First of all You need check the Law requirements, and there is direct requirement of 18 U.S.C. 2257, and there is about "proof of age" and "the custodian of records".

2. I'm not a big expert in this issue.
It's a big work to attract models and users in such activity.
You need consider, that bandwitch and monitor are limited by any of models, and they shut off projects where are no money.

1. The self-reported verification will not satisfy cam-sites proof requirements for broadcasters. I don't think I ever suggested it would. It does satisfy the 'I certify I'm over 18' button click scenario. For broadcasters, a third party verification that could 'hook' into the transaction could.

Also, the way we've implemented the verification actually implies that "better" is on the way. We've been looking at services like Sho-Card and a couple of others that offer very strong verification, and we have left room in the code to be able to 'fold-in' third-party verification schemes in the future. This is what we REALLY want to see.

2. I'm sorry, by your screen-name and posts, I thought you were. My bad.

100% agreed.

1. Follow the bare minimum requirements for proof of age.

2. The project needs investors and individuals like myself buying the coin and securing its price. Buying and not selling is investing in the project. At one point there needs to be proof that models' income can be improved by this technology.

The development team has release a new wallet that includes age proof. Right now the miners have to update for this feature to be working.

This Is Huge!

age verification

About what are You talking?
On the cam site the cam host heed to provide skans of ID and verify address.
Are You dreaming that some user of such site send to You similar data?

Where You have find the requirement of age verification for users, other of accepting the Site Rules?

Age Verification and Sexcoin

REPOST:

I wanted to take a minute and fill in some information about the age verification feature in the new client.  Age verification is a self-reported verification that is carried IN the transaction and written to the block-chain. This is accomplished through creating a flag field in the existing transaction version field. In effect, the high-byte of the transaction version carries the flags and the low-byte carries the transaction version.

We had a lot of discussion about the validity of 'self-reported' age-verification, and whether it was really worth putting into the client at all. The decision to write the feature in was accepted because self-reporting does provide merchants and end-users a certain amount of protection. If you doubt this, go to porn.com, and initiate a bitcoin purchase. This is processed with a button certifying your age. Pair that with the number of sites you can access with a button-click, and you can see that it does hold weight. In effect, the sender is certifying they are of age. As a merchant, the client has lied to you if they are not, so the client is culpable of fraud.

Also, the way we've implemented the verification actually implies that "better" is on the way. We've been looking at services like Sho-Card and a couple of others that offer very strong verification, and we have left room in the code to be able to 'fold-in' third-party verification schemes in the future. This is what we REALLY want to see.

I think the real power of this layout is that the flag is carried in the transaction, so it can be confirmed any time, by anyone (de-centralized ) in the future that age-verification was provided by looking up the transaction via the block-explorer.

Finally, I want to mention that age-verification offers protection both ways, and in some sense can make the coin useful in tangent with other payment schemes. I do picture a cam-to-cam scenario where both parties send age-verified coins to each other, providing an electronic signature that both are of age. Another scenario would be sending sexcoin with age-verification flags set as a side-transaction, with the bulk of the "traded-value" being doge or litecoin.

BTW, I'd love to talk to you about a cam project we've been brainstorming, any interest?

For history, Here are the different iterations of Sexcoin's official threads.

The earliest thread was started by the original Dev, who abandoned the coin...
The next thread was started by the new Dev team that took over development, so we could update the OP....
The next thread was started because the OP Account from the previous thread was inaccessible due to a turnover on the Dev team, and we again lost the ability to update...
The next thread was started because the previous thread became locked due to BCT moderators getting reports on posts that were NSFW. We NEVER figured out exactly what the deal was with that, but we moved on to the current thread.

Despite its appearance, there is continuity going from one 'official' thread to the next.

As the lead dev for Sexcoin, I can tell you its not dead.

Our growth has been rocky, you can figure that out simply by reading through the threads. The original dev disappeared and a few of us that saw the potiential picked it up and kept it moving. If anyone is truly curious about the history I'd be happy to go through it, but will spare the thread the long read.

The russian that keeps being mentioned is a passionate supporter... and she's pretty hot Wink  She can see the potential, the way the rest of us that believe in Sexcoin see it.

Right now, we're getting ready to release a new client that has age verification features. Cam-to-cam and token sites have always been high on our list of places sexcoin can carve out a niche, and age verification get's carried on the transaction level, so sexcoin can be sent with age verification attached. When the coins show up, it also reports if the sender has confirmed being over the age of consent, over 18 , over 21, or if no verification is given. We're hoping this can set the stage for deeper adaptation.

Past that, the potential we see is for all things adult oriented. From pay-per-view sites, to micro-transactions on porn sites, to adult toy-stores, to local fetish economies like artisans and service providers. Pretty much anything you would want some descretion involved in the transaction. So the android app ( which has been available ) coupled with age verification creates a pretty strong foundation for a coin.

It would be interesting to know a little bit about the history of the coin. I see some people need reaffirmation the coin is a sound, solid coin with real history unlike many others here.

Keep the good work and let us investors catch some Sexcoin for you.

They should look at it more like a toke to the users. Backend should be token/$. This ideology would allow them to open up simple apps (sex related) that run on their blockchain.

For instance: A small camera app that makes you earn Sexcoins with selfies send to friends. The more sexcoins earned they unlock features (like adding filters or stickers to your selfies). And so on. Never in the app frontend mention sexcoins.

There is zero reason for them to use some 3rd party coin as a token. It's nothing to create some "token" that the users can buy for money and they want to tie the value of that token to a far more stable currency like the USD as opposed to something volatile like a crypto coin. This is already established practice in both the porn (primarily cam sites) and game (primarily f2p) companies.

I agree in that 3rd party apps already out there (or being developed) would have zero interest in this coin, or any coin for that matter.

My point is:

Turn Sexcoin into an App Developing Company with its own coin, in this case, Sexcoin.

The product is the app(s).

Get a bunch of pornstars to advertise it and watch it rise back into 'action'. Wink

I agree. Perhaps not so much porn stars. Don't alienate people/investors/developers.

To be honest, apart from bitcoin and couple of others like a handful of them, every other altcoin is just to make profits. And there is nothing wrong with the process, being a trader myself,I love the altcoin culture but I never took any of them seriously since they were not meant to taken.Did you hear about the siacoin ? Unknowingly it's leading the charts now.

as bitcoin is the main coin and there are some other coins that are really famous and most of the people are investing thier assets there, but still there are so many other altcoin who have good potential and can increase too much in future but i think we need to recognize them if we want to make profit.
