It's about the risk you wanna take now. The xrp as a company is in spotlight and under legal issues due to some shady deals. If you think they will come out good then go ahead but beaware of that risks that the legal issue may bring .Finally, we are talking about Ripple here and not XRP, and ripple is managed by people, and as long as a currency is not decentralized enough, I do not suggest anyone to put money into it, if you want to make money there are tons of other ones.
Ripple had a highly manipulative week. Seems like a large bull trap to me. I don't think Ripple would be able to maintain this price unless they settle the issues out and gets relisted on popular exchanges. Not being able to trade on US based exchange is not the end but they'll miss a large manipulative market. If I were to buy, I'd wait for them to fall below 20 cents.
Now the price of ripple is at the level of 0.32 dollars and it is unlikely to seriously fall. Ripple's executives have announced that they are entering negotiations with the SEC. This means that they agree to pay the penalties. The SEC, in fact, is doing this. If the fine is paid, then ripple will be restored on the exchanges and will be able to develop further. It is tough to say what will happen in the next movement of XRP after the SEC issue in Ripple. Surprisingly, XRP's price survives that it didn't go down to zero because there are still a few people who continue to hold their XRP and still believe in Ripple so that XRP can recover its value after it resolves its issue in SEC. You make it sound like buying XRP is inappropriate because of SEC going after the project, this is uncool to all investors that dump their XRP, projects can have problems along the way and that doesn't mean the project can't withstand the issue, many people thought bitcoin was a scam, bubble and Ponzi scheme, but later everyone that called bitcoin different names end up buying, XRP isn't a piece of worthless project like many new projects of today

Everyone is free to have their opinion in this forum, because in fact everyone wants to have further discussions on everything they know, including the XRP token, which is being discussed a lot at the moment.For now, there is nothing really to discuss with XRP until there is something new from SEC about the lawsuit against ripple. If anything, there would have been articles already about XRP on news sites. Given that XRP is a top currency, everyone is still on the look out for something new and ready to dive in whenever there is a development of the suit. It did pump up to $0.32 though, after the dip from $0.24, that's still a big profit if someone just bought at the bbottom.

It's dumped again right now. There's no reason to buy this coin for long term investment. The ripple price can go down anytime and the sentiment of ripple will always come from the any news that will be released by SEC. You must be careful with this coin as the latest pump could be a dead cat bounce as the whales was trying to attract people to get into the ripple market again.
You have a lot of legit coins other than ripple and you must be a wise person dude.

It's very risky now, the price is still not going down but it will be once more negative news starting coming up, the SEC has air tight case, and it's going to be a long court battle we don't want to be part of Ripple down fall, only die hard Ripple investors are contentiously buying and supporting Ripple, there are a lot of Ripple shillers better look for other coins to invest.

Appropriate or inappropriate the call is yours to make, we all know that XRP is a top altcoin and still many chooses to let go of their holdings because of SEC involvement, we don't even know if XRP will win the war with SEC, we all believe that SEC is a project killer but XRP can't vanished I believe, not because of SEC

You've to remember that everything in crypto is RISK, just like it is crossing a busy expressway. So, you've to identify your risk appetite and know what you can forfeit if things went wrong. Again, you should also know that any suggestion given to you here shouldn't be seen as a financial advice so you don't get emotional about it.I think now the price will fluctuate until the situation with CEK is resolved
For a long time the price of Ripple remained under $1 until that debacle and I don't really see anything different happening, even after it is resolved. I hate to say this but that's the truth — XRP isn't the type of crypto investment that can easily give anyone a good ROI. Price hardly moves. 
The XRP price has been insanely unstable the last few weeks ever since the SEC lawsuit emerged. Prices dropped from $0.6 USD to almost $0.2 USD and ever since been fluctuating between $0.2 USD to $0.3 USD.
Would be a huge risk if you wish to invest in XRP right now since the future of XRP is unknown. If SEC proceeds with the lawsuit, pretty much sure the price is going to tank even more. I have read somewhere that it would make XRP totally useless since as no one will be able to trade it or something.

Invest at your own risk, losing and profit here is 50/50 chance, this is a long court battle you can still make profit but it's a big gamble for new investors or who are not a risk takers, so if you are not a risk taker, look for other coins to invest, there's a sword of Damocles hanging on Ripple right now and things can get worse anytime.
Correct! if you are not willing to gamble with this kind of risk or you are just a newbie who are aiming to find quality project to invest
your money, better to find another project and stay away. But if you have good outlook with this coin and you believe that the team
will manage to settle this problem, taking this chance is also possible in the long run.

I'm glad I don't sell the little bag of XRP I hold in my wallet, many people sold off because of the SEC news and now XRP already recovered, XRP isn't a small project that's what many failed to realize, it was shocking that XRP can grow back up today, some sold but others are already waiting to grab the chance
I didn’t even expect that XRP will rise in value while there are problems with the SEC, so XRP could continue to rise in value, but of course not everyone wants to invest in XRP at the moment due to problems with the SEC, so here everyone decides for himself.
If you are not up for the risk do not bother, it's better to invest money in other altcoins but I have full confidence that XRP will still not disappoint even with SEC doing all they can, XRP won't just go down like that, I know many people don't like XRP but if all new crypto project that be as good as XRP crypto would be a better safe place today, XRP is enough for me
