I think the point you're missing is called inflation. Combine that with the fact that avalon is the only company actually shipping units, then combine that with the fact that round 2 should ship out soon, and i'd hope you'd understand why 53 btc just doesn't cut it. It's not like you're buying BFL preorders, and people can afford the negative speculation that they might never ship, and will want to recoup some of their investment. You're offering to buy avalon machines, which are getting ready to ship soon, at less than the value of when people preordered them. Makes 0 sense, if you honestly take the time to think about it.

You would not lose money? You already paid what you paid, that money is gone and any monies you might have made by holding the coin is mute because the coins were spent! Maybe someone will. In the meantime I think the offer I made was valid and fair, I offered 2X original cost. Its not worth too much more then that and we all know this!
