No crypto Twitter list would be complete without Andreas Antonopoulos: (42K followers). I am growing quickly myself, but still at 4.2K. Maybe next year!

Thank you for this suggestion! Smiley

Wow, are you serious?? Bytecoin is a complete scam that literally has zero community. Including it in any kind of list is bad enough, but Top 25?? Are you kidding??

The question is about crypto twitters; I gave my opinion. Go look it yourself, it's quite entertaining.

You might aswell post this in the bitcoin section, this is the alt section why is bitcoin even there? not much alts with 10k+ followers, make it 3k or something.

Hmmmm. Good point. But I think we need to start kicking Bitcoin's ass at some point. Maybe we can start on Twitter?

I would love to have a site like coinmarketcap but for userbase counts. Thats the real value imo behind projects, if bitcoin would have 1000 users ift would be nowhere.

https://www.coingecko.com/en is currently the best way to analyse userbase telemetry.

CoinGecko score system is far from reality

The sites score system is misleading because it has flaws.

- It seems the community score uses only Reddit activity which is unfair, even some dead coins have a pretty high score from their subscribtions from long time ago. While some coins have also users outside of Reddit (think of apps, non englisch speaking users etc.) According to CoinGecko, WhatsApp would score very low on community.

- Dev activity score only checks github which is not right aswell, cus there are coins with much heigher activity outside github but their dev score shows 0 while some dead coins score more.

This makes the score system not based on the truth.

I believe that https://twitter.com/bytecoin_bcn is an interesting crypto twitter. It's not focused on BCN only and also shares other great content, privacy and cryptonomy related.

Wow, are you serious?? Bytecoin is a complete scam that literally has zero community. Including it in any kind of list is bad enough, but Top 25?? Are you kidding??

Reasons to give BCN the middle finger:-

Quote
Fraudulent claims about being used "as the major transaction currency of a major international research institution" (paraphrased), clearly false. Claims of being used by merchants and services on the darknet, also clearly false.
Fraudulent claims of affiliation with Cicada 3301, clearly false.
Fraudulent claims of being launched in 2012, clearly false.
Crippled miner, likely used to create an artificiallly-low hash-per-node and appearance of a larger and older notwork, as opposed to a few PCs in an office, university lab, or low budget cloud farm. Original scammers only released their uncrippled miner after others had become public, which thankfully happened pretty quickly.
Propaganda campaign to promote Bytecoin, the fake 2012 backstory, and smear other coins via secret financial backing of cointelegraph (now well documented, including screen shots and authenticated emails) and almost certainly other web outlets as well as wikipedia manipulation (as yet unproven, but obvious).
Transaction flow is almost certainly faked via an automated process as there are virtually no independent uses of Bytecoin, and the transaction flow doesn't even show normal fluctuations. Any real network would have periods of slow/no transactions, even Bitcoin does at orders of magnitude more overall usage. Bytecoin does not.
Sham trading on hitbtc where bots trade with themselves, manipulating both price and especially volume. Again, sham trading never slows down or stops, unlike non-fake exchange trading. Well documented.
Purchased accounts and sock puppet accounts (both well documented) on bitcointalk used to post phony "independent" analysis in support of Bytecoin and the fake backstory.
Manipulated whitepaper documents and web sites (for example, the "fingerprint" CSS reset code was removed after being identified as very strongly linking various "independent" web sites and projects, and then fraudulently claimed to have never been present).

OP please add genuinely informative accounts like https://twitter.com/thedailydecrypt rather than just a litany of scam projects.

Thanks.
