I read your post about the upcoming Solana airdrop of Pyth and how it is similar to the previous Bonk airdrop. It is hard to know what will happen but it is possible that Pyth could be like Bonk. But I think Pyth will perform well as compare to the Bonk because the use case of Pyth is good and the supply is limited not like a meme coin if this coin will get hype so I am sure this will perform excellent and this can do 5x to 10x easily from the current price. And as you mentioned that 900+ wallet addresses got the airdrop unfortunately I am not one of them. I have many transactions on Solana network but this wasn't enough for the eligibility of airdrop.

IIRC, there was a season called Solana szn and at that time, nearly all projects in the solana ecosystem so very crazy rides and the users enjoyed crazy returns — including investments made on shitcoin. My only query will be whether Solana network will be able to handle the traffic if the meme coin gets the traction it is expected to get knowing they had issues with their network in the past. For being the core oracle protocol that is live on Solana, I envision that it would make serious moves whenever solana makes one of those bold moves like it did from $20+ straight to $44. I know Pyth right now is no where near the quality of chainlink to but as with all solana projects, it'll be hyped up really go wjen we have a full fledged bull run.

I think bonk and pyth are a little different, but basically if the community and project funding is good enough, then the project will survive and have the potential to rise, and some projects have gone through that and given big airdrops like OP, ARB.APTOS, and many more .

You are right, making proper research about an asset before diving into investing in it is very important and very sure way to make right investment decision most especially when it comes to altcoins investment, the reason is that, if the coin is having any reservation or potential threat, you will likely and easily point that out, and at some point make the right decision concerning the investment.
But this is not the case with coins that already have traction like solana, which have shown multiple market reaction that have draw attention to the project and making people to be on the lookout for the coin, this is what make most investors to speculate so much about this project and how it has acted aling the way both up and down.

I never heard that the pyth airdrop would be released until the news really spread on the internet and suddenly the team said there was a snapshot and the conditions for being eligible for their airdrop were announced, I checked my address and it turned out that it was not eligible, even though I was quite active on the Solana network, it turned out that the conditions had to be interact on the pyth chain, and not just carry out transactions on the mentioned network.

Pyth's was restrospective airdrop, if you got it, you got it. You didn't have to do anything. Also, I don't think this airdrop has got to do something with promoting solana, it's just token built on solana.

Absolutely right, Only airdrop cannot pump coin to such a high price..Btc not reached 100k$ despite of huge community and adoption then how one project which was nearly failed will reach this price.
I don't vibe airdrop, they are just impressing the chain and marketing the chain to people to buy the coin(Solana), the moment the event end, the will sell off the coin and airdrop tokens and investors will be left with nothing. Check Bonk, the market cap and the traded volume, you will see that airdrop tokens all have similar pattern, at first they get hype up and in the end they remain flacid like weak tissues.
Instead of buying Solana in anticipation of been selected, why not use the money to buy other coins, remember that their is going to be a lot of farmers that will use bot to get the tokens any how and the chance of you getting the token might even reduce when they use anti bots to weed out other people, be careful of airdrops my friend.

Jupiter is confirmed, but it's simple airdrop with every wallet that interacted with it is eligible, so might not be worth as good but who knows.
