solana for the past few decades has been in great demand by traders in looking for tokens for investment, although the movement is a bit slow, slowly but surely, on the other hand terra is one step ahead of the stable UST coin sector, many newcomer tokens use terra UST as a token swap tool, like the LUNI token, the support is more in favor of terra UST, the more potential it is to be a stable path in asset storage.

In my opinion, this is just a prediction market, you can make money if you can predict the future better than anyone else. If Luna goes up in price and SOL stays the same, then you will earn money to buy SOL through LUNA. You'll also earn money if no one buys LUNA because their product isn't there or isn't that great. However, due to the risks of investing in any cryptocurrency market, even if Solana is not better overall than Luna, it is still worth investing in as it could still go up. It's all about the potential future value of investment alone.
This is why people are thorn between the two. In one hand you have a product (sol) that ended up doing something but not doing it greatly, they have tried it, it's working, it is "something" that you can look at or use, but it is not as great as promised. In the other hand (luna) you have a product that promises the worlds to you, but you have nothing in your hand, not really nothing but basically nothing.So, which one do you trust, the one that has mediocre results? Or the one that could bring you something more than that, or maybe bring you nothing at all? I prefer SOL over Luna, but I also understand anyone who doesn't pick the same result.

Solana to be honest, I think it has the potential to maybe even compete & over take Ethereum. It really is a promising coin & in the next bull cycle it could explode, do a 50 x or something.
Both are worth the investment but if I had to choose between the two, I would choose Solana over Terra.
I don't think Sol can compare with Ethereum other than cheap fees and fast transaction speed, Sol is still nothing better than ETH and most of the later blockchains have these features. Sol seems out of breath compared to similar projects but I believe Sol will do wonders, 50x I think Sol can achieve it in the future.
Terra is still growing but it seems like founder is putting all of his attention to grab more and more bitcoin rather than tried to evolve its ecosystem. I see that if terra ecosystem is still lack of dapps support. From this case solana was winning the case as there are bunch of dapps that already built in the solana blockchain. Terra is still in the growing process and this may not able to compete with solana once it will be facing into the various factors like how many dapps that already created in the network.

Solana is nice project and if I'm selecting one i will select solana because this project of Solana people have known the project very well and started investing in Solana and when you come for Terra i will say Terra never gather the firm that Solana gathered and Terra never go trial unlike Solana 
I think Solana is better than Terra. The new Solana Coin in 2021, it only takes about 7 months to make Solana enter the top 5 ranking and this is a big achievement, although the issue of network problems some time ago but it has been resolved and does not take long to make investors believe in Solana performance.

Solana and terra are both good coins for investment. But, if you say, you select one, there is no doubt that I invest in SOL. The coin of solana is absolutely dominating, There are many times, I invest in SOL but I don’t invest in LUNA.

I'll easily go for Solana over Terra Luna at this moment because Luna is still close to its all-time high unlike Solana. Also I think Solana is far more popular at the moment and it is welcoming new projects. 
Hm honestly the page you linked doesn't give much information. There are some obscure ratings and lots of empty entries. Just browsing through CMC gives you more data probably.
Looking at defillama.com data, Solana is consolidating right now. They had a massive growth last year and now need to re-orient a bit.
Terra is still moving upwards, but this seems mostly driven by their LUNA/UST swapping mechanism which increases scarcity on LUNA when UST is created. The question is, whether this system is sustainable in the long run or whether dangerous situation can arise where at some point a downwards spiral can be created where UST is destroyed for new LUNA and those are sold at the market for new UST.
Its ideas, its opinions and nothing more. If you love one over the other then you should pick that one. The main idea is that they are not really that much different from each other and that's true. There is no clear indication of which one is better and bigger, you just need to make sure that you know what you are getting into. However, if you are thorn between these two, check them both out and you will see that they are basically the same thing and do not have too much difference.
honestly solana was having a really great growth these recent years and it seems their marketing was also a success considering their community has been getting a lot more bigger than ever.
although it seems this platform is still lacking some of the quality projects that could lift its value and market capitalization but in the future surely such thing could always be realized its just matter of time and the innovation that this platform offer compared with the other platform.
if i were given a chance for choosing from both of them surely i’d prefer solana just because i’m more familiar with it but objectively choosing i’d still choose solana over LUNA, idk LUNA is promising but kinda lacking in my eyes honestly.

I love both. solana and terra are the coins I've been holding for the past year. This project is great and I'm sure in the future it will be too. last year solana was a surprise as it rose more than 1000% and that gives me confidence that in the future this coin will repeat it. and terra also have something in common, these two projects are the projects with the greatest potential after bitcoin and ethereum. That's why I confidently bought it.But, I haven't done the same level of research on Terra, would you mind telling me what drew you to Terra? Like what did you find about it during your research that made you interested in it, and made you buy/invest into it?

Solana A very popular and worth investing coin. It has gained a lot of popularity all over the world. Solana is currently one of the top coins. I already bought and invested. I also bought coins at Terra Luna. I left it as the future.After doing a lot of analysis, I still feel very good. Which is why I have invested in these two projects. I think both are good coins, Solana and Terra, coins that are much sought after by investors, from the supply side, they are not too high compared to other coins.However, if you were told to choose I would definitely choose one for investment, namely Solana, currently Solana is down at the level of $100, I'm sure next year Solana can reach a base ATH price of $200 or more.

SOL is one of many cryptocurrencies that in my watch, since Solana has a lot of potential like Ethereum and BNB I would invest a lot in there but right now I'm preparing my capital to buy altcoin that in my list. Also, Solana got a lot of adoption lately, which makes Solana getting more recognition from a lot of people. Whatever tokens you buy you should use cold money as always.
Does it need to be SOL vs LUNA why not both? If I had money t invest and I need to chose between those too I would put 60% in SOL and 40% in LUNA. I think that is right thing to do if we watch the market.

I have bought both and have had definite returns on them. Maybe some issues on the platform, but basically, these are still strong coins in the market.
