Oddly enough though, they are issuing refunds. Which is a bit crazy. They are definitely scrypt asic international re-branded.

It was a big deal. They were releasing 250 scrypt asics and released a stock, took investors, did a whole investors get the 250 units. There's a thread somewhere on BTCtalk about it. Now their stock is on a stop trade, check the website. scryptasic.org

Even more odd, the scryptasic domain was redirected until some time around the 20th - 21st....
Dunno why, but scryptasic.org released crazy specs at a price simply too low. They never released updates or real images; i think that was obviously a scam. Maybe alpha-t bought the domain only for publicity (to get the traffic from the scammed users) or maybe the owners of scryptasic redirected the domain only for some BAD publicity letting users thick it was the same company...
Alpha-t is releasing constant updates and seems quite helpful in the customers care, i really can't believe it's the same company.

Interesting indeed, however judging from the timeline they still have a lot of challenges to overcome. I highly doubt they will manage to ship on schedule, but this is just my opinion. Good luck with the sale, if things progress nicely for alpha-t in near future and if you still have pre-orders I would gladly take them but not at this point.

well this is an interesting piece of hardware. It sure would be nice to get rid of all my litecoin hashing rigs for a couple of these things.

I made the preorder as soon as they opened on 4 of january, and paid immediately the 30% deposit (810£) with paypal.
