Just to clarify+. This coin was reserved and sold months ago. This thread is just for people to confirm that they still want coin. Any coins still available if someone dosen't want it will be made available to the stand by list at the bottom. Didnt want anyone to think they were being excluded.
the coins were not "sold" months ago - No funds for any of the coins was paid until this thread.
in the prior thread, it was about "interest" in the coin.
Those who expressed interest then were given preference when this thread was created.
I understand what your saying and to each their own. Just consider this 1/40 odds are terrible. Its 2.5% chance you have the winning coin. In 5-10 years this coin in original condition could potentially sell for 0.04 even if its loaded with nothing. Just make sure if you or anyone else peels to let us know if you got rekt. That way we know if our odds got better. Great coin, great idea. I foresee discussions continuing for years to come.
agreed - but some wont be able to avoid the temptation. It will be interesting to see how long and if the winning funds ever get moved.

I'm glad this coin has come to fruition. Thank to you all, and especially to minerjones, MoparMining and bigtimespaghetti.
We're going to proceed with the funding by choosing a block with mj and mopar. stay tuned.

Because I don't intend to sell it. So if it's the winning coin. I can bank the 04 and rebuild it with a authentic alpen holo and fund it with a smaller denom. Not saying I am going to. But I understand why someone would. I feel it's still a extremely rare and valuable coin. Plus if the winning coin is found then the wonder is gone. I'm sure there are a few that will peel it so we might know we might not. But I wouldn't say I would blame anyone for peeling it or not. I think this is such a cool concept and love that it's a silver coin. Would be cool to see more raffle type thinga like this.

you would have to peel it to see if you are the winner - there is nothing linking which address goes to which coin. The addresses are guaranteed to match the PK's used but there is no record of which PK was put on which coin - was done randomly - so the only way to know if you win is to peel the coin and load the PK into a wallet. That said, you could then generate a new PK and address pair and load the coin yourself.
Anyone wanting to do this, let me know and I can supply a new Alpen DIY hologram.

Just curious why anyone would want to peel this coin. The value of this coin is the rarity and potential for win. Keeping it original will always net you more then if you rebuild. Most likely we will never know who has the winning coin and the chance is what builds value. Already this coin has a great backstory and legend. I hope all or most let it live on.
