Shame. I was really considering this. Looked into the Anacs process yesterday to see how much a relevant premium would be for such a grade considering it's an MS-70. (I didn't know much about the whole grading thing). Would be interesting to see what this sold for as I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing Cas singles getting MS-70 pretty soon.
Last year who'd have believed even MS-69 as a possibility? Now MS-68s are quite common anything less than that is just, nicely put... Meh (besides MS-67)

I don't know. Some coins still grade 64/65/66 and 68s aren't thaaaat common. I think it should still fetch a nice premium for a while.

And congrats on the sale!

Has anyone tried to figure out if certain grades came from certain batches/rolls??
Like were many of the 68 from batch 1.....etc??
Or if certain mintages were all one grade??

Thanks Smiley

Alright see if these help at all. I am having problems getting my iPhone to focus that close  Huh

iPhone won't focus very close; try backing up until the coin is in focus and zooming w/ photoshop or similar.

If this is an MS-70, what's ANACS gonna do when a coin without a ding shows up, give it a 71? Slabbed coins...  Roll Eyes

Here is an album with closer pics

Can we get a nice close-up of the spot that nubbins highlighted?

I will snap some closer pictures...or offer the other one. Same difference to me - only selling 1 of the 2.

Is that a scratch on the case or a ding in the coin?

Will not be able to post a picture until Sunday/Monday when I can get physical access to them! So far via PM I have had some solid offers.

What's the highest bid so far? Bet it'll go for a mint..  Wink
