Yep, I'm getting screwed over aswell.
Paid 6/03. It even says on his website it is paid!
Almost 2 weeks later, nothing, nadda. He is not accepting me on skype, not answering PM's.
Last time I worked with sushi, next time straight from Bitmain.

I think its time for us to consider that fact that we are probably getting screwed by sushi. Let's take a look at recent events. Correct me if I'm wrong here:

1. Orders within the last 2-3 weeks have not been delivered
2. Problems with hosted ants have not been resolved
3. Nothing from sushi in two weeks. I personally heard from him multiple times up to March 3rd when I owed him $ (I paid for 3 months hosting and shipping of my 2 Ants) and nothing since then and no shipping of my Ants.
4. No mention of future sales by sushi, I think he would be jumping on the S2 if he were planning to continue doing business here.

What are our options?

I say we start the witch hunt by trying to ID this guy. He has a Philippines email account, but I think hes in the US. I have seen people talking of return addresses in Colorado. Does anyone have this address? I have a suspicion he may be a guy in CA named Josh Aguirre, but this is just speculation at this point.

Ideas?

Maybe a kind of group letter to bitmaintech asking for some assistance with this individual? they should have his details.

I was just on Bitmain's web site bitmaintech.com and the S2 will coming out soon, 1TH for only $3899 or 6.14btc,  whoohoo Smiley

Very exciting indeed.  However, I feel that Bitmain is skimping on the PSU.  Assuming that they're using Enermax ERV1000EWT-G 80 Plus Gold which is approximately 90% efficient at around full load (996W or 83A total on the 12V rail), the S2 would be drawing around 900WDC (1000WAC at the wall*90%) from this PSU.  That's a 90% (900W/996W) continuous load 24/7.  That's too close for comfort.  A 1200W PSU (75% load) would be more appropriate.  Personally, I prefer a 1500W PSU (60% load) for the S2 which is much closer to peak efficiency which is at 50% load.

Bitmain should offer an option to sell the S2 without a power supply at an appropriately reduced price so we could supply our own PSU or offer a pre-installed premium PSU with a much higher capacity for a price.

From the feedback it seems things went well when there was a fair amount of interaction with the forum members on sent feedback but that has since tapered off to virtually none at all.

Presently how long is the wait from ordering from Bitmain to orders being sent out?

I'll let you know, I bought 1 last night - sent coins at 9:30pm UK time. Order is currently marked as Paid, Unshipped, Valid.

Here's an update on my order from bitmain direct http://bitmaintech.com/:

Paid 9:30pm (UK) on Wed 12th March
Got tracking number 11am this morning on Fri 14th March
Expected delivery (according to UPS) is Mon 17th March

So that will be 3 working days - not bad from China. I can't see the point in dealing with any middleman with service that good.

+1
I order the exact seem time as you did and have the exact shipping arrival dates (ETA 3-17-2014).
+1 also. Same delivery ETA. As it sat for awhile unshipped I emailed. Got a reply, emailed and immediately got another reply. Everything seems to be what you'd expect.

Juan is really good.
He is the one that helped me break the story on the 1 th/s S2 today.

He is good with sales and support.

You could buy them from 112bit.com also.
Juan is always on and communicates very fast with people before and after the sale.

I just went to this guys website and was able to chat with him direct - seems like a good place too!

[edit] declared value for an S1 for customs (UK) is $500 btw - which is slightly higher than bitmain I think. Declared customs price for an S2 is unknown as yet...

[edit2] and shipping for S1 is only $35 - S2 pre-order is only $35...

Dude, just buy from bitmaintech.com.  There's no reason to order from sushi anymore.  I've ordered from him a few times and I always received my units buy his communication is terrible.  Plus bitmain has the best pricing and they update their site right when it ships.  I have a hosted Ant that I've been trying to get Sushi to send me for almost 2 months now.  I've submitted multiple tickets on his site and I eventually get a response of "it will be taken care of".

...not to talk about PSUs, cables and accessories that I already bought in order to be ready for when machines would have been delivered...  Should I feel a little dumb arm, don't you agree!? Sad  Sad  Sad

I had read some good reviews of sushi so I decided to order two days ago. I hope we haven't been goxed Sad I tried to ask for a refund at his e-mail two hours ago, and asked him to provide a tracking if the order is already shipped. I will keep you informed when (if) I get an answer from him.

...the problem for me is that on 22-02 only, I paid for 8 S1 on sushi's website and AS OF NOW = STILL NO NEWS NOR TRACKING NUMBERS...

...I'm trying to contact sushi in several manners and periodically: one week since his last reply... Do you think it will happen a miracle or maybe I got scammed......  ...  ...  it's two weeks now from the "presumed" date of shipping pointed on 28-02

Any valid news will he really appreciated at this point... Sad

Cheers!

Same 36 hrs in still "paid, unshipped, valid. " Only thing that's changed is there used to be an option to edit the shipping address where you can view the order and that's been removed so I'm thinking they entered the order into their shipping database and locked in the address.

I'm still trying to decipher Bitmain's statement about 1800 local and the shipping system since by all appearances it missed the "bus". All I know is if it's coming by bus that's going to be one hell of an interesting drive.

In the next few days, Bitmain will adjust the price of the S1 miner on a daily basis. We will reflect the shipping date difference, which means every time our website store manager deliver the order information into the shipping system at the 18:00PM of Beijing, the price will be adjusted. So please don't be upset if you buy the S1 then only 1 minutes later the price dropped a little bit. It only means that you have caught today's last bus.
