Well btc jumped 10% or so since your purchase and since your purchase was in usd but btc based one could argue you made $ no? Since btc increased after you paid and you got a refund?
Cause he could have refunded you 1750 at current time and that would be less btc than you sent. That would probably have caused a riot tho
