2018 PRICING/AVAILABILITY/STYLE:
  • $45 = LOW INVENTORY = .999 silver w/ 24kt gold plated

Inventory update for the gold highlighted Bitcoin Binary Rounds.  There are only a handful of these left.  If you've wanted one or want to add more to your collection, time is running low.  Don't miss out!

I am also no longer offering "rolls" of the 2018 coins.

It isn't all bad news though.  In order to celebrate the 4th of July holiday here in America, all US shipping is free for the next 24 hours.  Just drop me a message telling me what you want and that you want free shipping for Independence Day and I'll send over a quote.  Happy 4th!

First price increase is now live after nearly 8 years of sales for these silver rounds.  If you previously contacted me to reserve old pricing, you have until the end of the week to complete your purchase.  Thank you!

Is there any discount on full roll or more?

In short.  No.  The price not having been raised yet is the discount.  Smiley  In another 2 weeks 4 days they'll be $5 higher in price for each coin.  Depending on your location, availability and how many you're interested in, we could maybe talk about free shipping, but as far as dropping the price per coin, it's swinging the other direction.  I'm giving fair warning now so anyone who wanted to get them for the original price has a last chance to do so.  With BTC near all time highs, transaction fees at reasonable levels, and silver rallying, this is probably the best time ever to purchase one of these rounds with BTC...

Due to recent rally in the silver market, I will be increasing the price of these coins by $5 per coin in the near future. I wanted to give a warning first for buyers to have an opportunity to get in at current pricing. Most likely the prices will be raised by June barring any unforeseen developments in the metals markets. PM to purchase.

I continue to sell these but stock is getting low...  Might be a good time to grab some if you have been on the sidelines as the BTC price surpasses the $50K mark.

The mint I used for these coins has changed hands and my contact is no longer with the company, but I have been trying to find someone there who can give me exact production numbers.  I should've done a better job tracking 3rd party retailers who were offering these for sale.

I was also sent the dies for these coins (along with others I've minted) and wonder if I voided them with a mark if there would be any interest in owning them by someone in the community.

PM me to purchase these rounds, or check out some other coins I have for sale at: https://nastyfans.org/mint

I can't find mintage stats on these pieces. Can you provide those?

I have one with gold highlights id like to know the mintage numbers for.

I never tracked the mintages on these coins, mostly due to having so many retail partners early on and struggling just to keep coins in their inventory from the mint. However, I can say that the 2018 year was crazy how many were sold. I think I shipped to 50+ different countries or something like that. So as far as rarity is concerned, the 2019 & 2020 coins are by far the most rare, whereas the 2018 year is shocking to me how many exist. I’d guess a number in the tens of thousands. As for the gold highlighted versions, only a few hundred of each type were produced.

With all the issues surrounding Bitcoin's mempool being extremely crowded and high fees I've had a few people inquire about me accepting other currencies for these coins.  While I'm not going to accept reversible payment methods like PayPal, I am usually happy to accept any non-reversible payment method like USDT or even other cryptocurrencies like MATIC, Solana, ETH, etc.  I don't typically look to accumulate cryptocurrencies outside of Bitcoin, but am always happy to work with people who want to make a purchase but don't like the idea of spending such a huge amount on blockchain fees.

I still have some of these silver binary rounds available for purchase. Contact me for a discount if you’re interested in purchasing 20+. A bit surprised these babies haven’t sold out yet. I don’t have any plans to mint any more currently so once they’re gone they’re gone. Happy coining!

I know two people in my work place who have bought ludercrious amounts of bullion (one has bought just silver while the other did a split in quarters - gold, silver, Bitcoin and (?) can't recall what). The former has a mix of rounds and kilo blocks of silver.

While I'm all for investments (especially bullion, crypto and currency) I've asked both of them how can they be certain the price of bullion will skyrocket when miners are pulling more resources out of the ground?

I do understand there are some comparisons to crypto mining pulling blocks out of thin air, but Bitcoin has a deminishing reward built in to promote a growth in price over time whereas resource mining has gone from panning at the side of the river with a pick and shovel to mega industrial scale flattening entire hills and even reprocessing old tailings chemically to extract more than was originally mined.

The author of Rich Dad Poor Dad (one of the first books on investing I ever read) has been pretty vocal lately about precious metals and Bitcoin as a safeguard against a coming recession.  He's said that silver is one of the most underrated investments of our generation and expects it to jump to $500 per ounce in our lifetime.  If that's true, then now might be a great time to make sure you've got some real physical silver in your portfolio and not ETFs.  Holding Bitcoin is a great idea, but being diversified isn't so bad either.  Smiley

I got some of these to add to my commemorative MJB MonetaryMetals / Mulligan Mint AOCS token collection.

OGNasty, did you know that the original v1 1g silver MJBMonetary Metals coin from this post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/1-gram-999-fine-silver-bitcoin-rounds-type-2-23256

Yes. You can often see me telling people who use his designs that they should send him some free stuff. The second line of the OP even gives credit to MJBMonetartMetals for designing these coins (and the Litecoin versions). He was an iconic early designer in the Bitcoin community, a great guy, and I’d like to consider him a personal friend.

OGNasty, did you know that the original v1 1g silver MJBMonetary Metals coin from this post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/1-gram-999-fine-silver-bitcoin-rounds-type-2-23256 is listed in the "Encyclopedia of Physical Bitcoins and Crypto-Currencies" as the first physical coin ever minted with the bitcoin logo on it?

Here's the quote:

"This is the first bitcoin themed coin to be produced and sold. Released on June 28th, 2011, these were sold out over a month before the first Casascius coins went on sale. Being sold for 1.50 GBP each with a minimum order of 10, supply ran out in two months. Due to the original cheapness of these coins it is likely that many were damaged by mishandling and/or misplaced over the years. As such, the number of these coins in good condition is likely very small, and one coming onto the market is a rare event."

I just had a couple graded by ICG! I'll be selling one commemorative MJB MonetaryMetals token collection and keeping one for myself Smiley

Getting asked if these are still in stock (thanks for the purchases) and I must say that yes, they are still in stock as the OP in this thread indicates.  Everything is up to date.  Stock is running a bit low but as long as you aren't trying to purchase hundreds of them, I should have you covered.  If you want to purchase, just drop me a personal message with your country and what you'd like to purchase so that I can send you a quote that includes shipping costs.

Remember remember the fifth of November.  Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Things are good.  I hope they are for you as well.  Seeing all of your red feedback is a little troubling, but I'm sure everything will go smoothly with this trade.
