Is this still available?

No longer available from me.  Embarrassed
Sorry about that. We do have the Rockminer R-Box in-stock though:

http://www.eyeboot.com/Bitcoin-Miners-btc-mining/rockminer-r-box

Complete package comes with miner plus cables and power adapter. Everything you need to start mining straight away.

I ordered 2 of them on the 26. May and got them last week (delay was because of Romanian postal services as far as i can tell). The boards were carefully packaged and a page with setup instructions was attached. Communication with klintay was quick and flawless.

my 2 cents regarding profitability: i don't expect to get my money back trough mining with them, i bought them as a educational project about ASIC mining.

Glad to hear they arrived safely  Wink

Setup Instructions

1.   Download the latest version of cgminer.
Link: http://www.mediafire.com/download/qoy0f73r5z3choq/cgminer-4.2.0-windows.rar

2.   Download Zadig Windows Driver: http://zadig.akeo.ie/

3.   Insert one BFx2 miner into a USB port on your Windows machine.
If you have never installed any FTDI drivers, then Windows will fail to install a driver. This is OK.

4.   Run Zadig. Use the drop-down to find the "Single RS232-HS" entry. If it doesn't show, select "Options->List All Devices"

5.   Set the new driver to be WinUSB and click Install (or Re-Install) driver.

6.   Extract cgminer to your chosen location

7.   Right mouse click, select edit on the #Mine.bat file inside cgminer to change to your own information
(i.e. mining pool, username, password) See example below:

    cgminer.exe -o stratum.d7.lt:3333 -u iloveppcoin.2 -p 12345 --bxm-bits=54

-o = mining pool address : mining pool port number
-u = workername from your mining pool
-p = password for your worker
--bxm-bits = controls speed (possible values = 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56)

8.   The fastest --bxm-bits value is usually 54, but you can experiment with your miners. Some might be different.

9.   Save your #mine.bat file.

10.   Open #mine.bat and start mining!

Thanks. Sent more. Will update here when I get the package.

Great, you should be receiving them very soon.

I have updated the original post to show correct wattage and amp usage for the miners.

Pencil Mod (how to overclock)
Also, how to overclock. You must first located the R8 resistor. Then use a normal pencil to colour it in on each side.

You may notice that the sides are white so colour these in so it is all grey. By drawing on it with pencil you are in fact adding carbon with is a good conductor. This lowers the resistance of the resistor and allows more voltage to enter the chip and enhance performance.

I took one miner that was hashing at 4.1 gh/s and use the pencil mod. This was the results:

I added a small table fan, bxm bits was set to 54 and it hashed stably at 4.7 gh/s and was completely cool to the touch (except for the chip).
I would strongly suggest you add extra cooling for these miners (even if you don't overclock them). I have noticed that without extra cooling the hashing speed will keep changing (between 3.9 - 4.5 gh/s). However add a little table fan and it is stably like a rock!

Afterward i used an eraser and removed the pencil mark. This was the hashing speed i got again:

Good thing about the pencil mod is that it can be easily removed.

Safe to run on AM 49 port hub with proper power?

"Proper power" is the key, so I can't say for sure... point me to the specs for the hub?

I measured last night, when over clocked to --clock-bits=54, they will draw 1A or 5W. As long as the hub can do >1A per port you should be fine.

I have AM original 49 port hubs. My PSU is 5v X 30A.
With 30A I wouldn't run more than 28 miners in that hub.

I second that, power is the crucial thing. The factory assure me that this hub could take 2A per port before it became a danger.

For a strong PSU i would suggest the Shark series, they do some 45A 5V ones which are pretty bad ass. Appears to be a USA company as well which is good.

Currently I run full capacity with dualminers and antminer combos. But, dualminers use 1.5 W and antminer uses 2.5 W, so I run way under the full load. I can easily throw a few of these on each hub and I should be safe then.

how many watts is this?

Power draw of <500mA

@500mA 5V they are about 2.5W. However, over clocking will increase this power draw.
