America, "O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave" so they say. In my country, you dont even have access to it for whatever reason. Hopefully, when I get to migrate then I can actually see first hand the real land of the free. I wont blame the government as it has its advantages and disadvantages...

Just wanted to chime in and say this is awesome. Firearms for bitcoins (transaction performed legally, of course)-I love it. Unfortunately in my home state of California there is no [even somewhat reasonable] way of owning it. But good luck man-keep stuff like this coming, I love to see it.

Actually, these can be shipped with a 10 round drum or without a drum I believe into California...  I'd have to double check.

If anyone has fiat and is looking for one of these types of guns... I stumbled across a great deal today online (in fact I might buy it tomorrow.)

https://www.gunsamerica.com/930651086/Auto-Ordnance-1927A1-Deluxe-Pistol.htm

100 round drum for $1225 +$45 shipping.

I wonder how well it would do with hallow points.

I've only used 230 grain fmj

Everything I read says it can cause jams... I'm going to give it a test run later

Ok just got back in from running 50 rounds through one of them.

I used the green and red hollow point ammo in the picture above.  (They are consider hollow points, but they have some shit in them to help them keep flying straight after 20 feet & shoot through windshields etc.)

I had 3 jams in total and they were very simple jams.  All I needed to do was help the bolt down just a little.  The tiny bit of the bullets edge would catch was the issue.  I could fix it about as fast as I could get my hand on the bolt.

After my little test... I'd have to recommend sticking with the 230 grain fmj ammo.  Smiley

(note to self: Let the neighbors know before you dump a drum in the back yard)

You No kidding about the drum thing being a 2 person thing. Well at least you ain't going to be doing quick mag swaps with it.

It's doing good. I had gotten the 30 round stick mag as well for it.

I was considering ordering a few 100rd drums for these and a stick... do you like the stick?

I always joke that these aren't very good school shooting guns because it's god damn near a two person job putting in and taking out a drum when the Thompson's are new and tight! (har har not funny I know)

It is really hard to pull the bolt back because:

A:  They are tight a fuck.
B:  The ball on top is sort of tough on the fingers.

Did yours break in decently after a while?

I love shooting it in 1gallon water bottles but unforgettably them 45 shells get expensive after awhile.

I bought 100 rounds yesterday for like $130 bucks... meh.

Hell no. That damn thing is still hard as hell.

And you just HAD to put more up...  Grin Shocked Cool

Ya I just can't help but like them!

I only have things I collect.

How is your Thompson holding up?  How does it shoot and such?  (Demon purchase one of my other Tommy Guns back in the day https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.3555220)

Prices are a bit higher than back then... $1250 then and $1500 now.

Obama is a hell of a salesman Smiley.

The revolution will be monetized!
Damn! I wish I was in America! I would have bought it then!
In my country you need to get threats from some terrorists in order to procure a license and even with that license too you are only allowed to buy a 50 years old handgun!

I feel for your plight brother. An attacker is not going to have a 50 year old antique. Your best bet is to try offsetting your lack of firepower with training.
In the early part of our history you could own a "ship of the line". That was the most powerful weapon on Earth, like owning an aircraft carrier or an ICBM. The people who try arguing that our founders were talking about muskets and could not envision modern firearms simply do not know their history.
